Help! arnica tablets?

I have been reading loads of girls have been taking arnica tablets before their op. My nurse didn’t advise me about them and I haven’t had a response to my calls or emails. The only thing I was told was to stop taking my pill 4 weeks before my op. Do they help with bruising and your recovery? I am unsure whether to buy them or not. Thanks.

Hi Lorna I haven’t had my op as off yet still at the consulate stage but I’ve also been reading a lot on line about theses tablets aswell I’m going to try them I think when I go ahead with my op I don’t think the nurse would advise theses as there only herbal /hompathic anything would be worth a try I think if it aids with the healing process xx

Hi babe! My nurse didn’t mention anything to me about arnica I just found out about them by myself on here. I started taking them a week before surgery and a week after and had no bruising x

Hey x I am soooo prone to bruising. I bruise really easily. I was meant to get some but I didn’t have chance cause of work, kids etc. So I had my op without taking any and I don’t have one bruise in sight 🙂 not even in the slightest xxxxx

How do u take them and from when

I bought some and they honestly seem like more trouble than they are worth. You must take 4 tablets dissolved under the tongue every four hours. They got really great reviews on Amazon when it came to pain management, but I haven’t noticed that they work at all. Still have to take paracetamol for headaches / inflammatory pain. My nurse told me not to bother with any products that are over-hyped on the Internet without any clinical backing, but I thought I’d give these a try since it wouldn’t do any harm. Probably wouldn’t have done it again.
