    Hi,

I’m really really confused…a case of information overload. I want to see several surgeons to get a feel and feel like I was picking the right one.
I have paid small deposit to book a date with Mya but not paid the full amount. I’m due to have pre op next week. But I’m now wondering what happens if I choose to go to another company.
I accept I’d lose the deposit but would I be liable to pay the full amount as out of 7 day cooling off etc. would they make me go thru with it can’t lose that sort of money, and if I had a pre op would I be charged for that if, I didn’t go ahead?
Basically it comes down to the aftercare policy. Info given by Mya is quite washy washy on what they cover and only for 3 yrs 5 yrs for capsular contraction whereas the other company offers a comprehensive 10 yr policy…which seems like a no brainer but I was always set on Mya.

Anyone know where I stand and offer some advice pppllleease……

Hi im thinking about looking else were also because of the aftercare. Because of what I have been through with my last operation I need to know I will be happy at the end. Who were you thinking about using as I have had a bad experience with another Newcastle clinic

Transform do offer 10 years for capsulation but if u read it its only grade 3 or above. This is why I chose mya cos they cover any grade. Plus capsulation usually will occur in the first year xx

Yes looked at transform there aftercare policy is much more transparent but hadn’t read about the grading so I think it’s probably like all insurance policies it’s hit or miss if they pay out!

I suppose the best thing to do is get the best surgeon u can for you and your needs as the best job probably limits the problems after.

Aaah never thought it would be so confusing! Just want to do the right thing with the money and my body!
