Help!! Forgot I wasn\'t meant to smoke after surgery what should I do.. Worried!!

Had vaser Lipo today and forgot I wasn’t meant to smoke until I read the post op info.

I had breast enlargements on Tuesday. I stopped smoking only the night before. I’m 2 days post op and at the moment I’m fine doing well. They didn’t ask me at the hospital either. Don’t panic it will make you worse.

It won’t do anything other than possibly slow down your healing, try and stop if you can Hun xx

I told the nurse I would cut down with an electronic fag and she didn’t comment . The anaesthetic doctor asked me if in smoked I said yes sheepishly and he said don’t worry I just need to know how many. He didn’t make a big issue of it.

Just worried cuz my belly swelled and felt really tite in my garment. Don’t usually smoke so I don’t know why I dun it to be honest.. Thanks for ur advise @Julieg1, @Sarah.

I smoke didn’t stop before my ba or after been absolutely fine and my healing is fine and had no reaction to anaesthetic either Hun x had a few ops over the past few years and didn’t stop for them either xx belly swelling could be your pain killers and antibiotics as well took mine nearly a week to go down and I only took the pain killers for two days xx hope you feel better soon xx

@Emma thankfully I have not had to touch any pain killers.. My stomach swelled straight after I smoke I could literally feel my garment getting tighter seconds after finishing the cigaret, omg I was so scared.. Thanks for ur advise though, it feels a bit looser this morning.
