Help freaking out

My op is on wednesday and i am seriously starting to worry! Been panicing all week but crying now cant stop thinking what if something goes wrong. Really considering canceling but dont know where i stand?? Any advice anyone please

I haven’t had the op yet, (first consultation tomorrow) but just try and remember WHY you’re doing it. I’m guessing you’ve wanted it for years, been putting off but the want for it keeps coming back? Just think about that, think of the millions of people that have had it done and think how confident and happier you’ll be when you have your new boobs! Don’t worry. If it’s something you want, go for it!!xxx

@mrssheppard2be , try not to worry it really is last minute nerves kicking in, like Charlotte says think about why you booked it in the first place and how good and confident you will feel afterwards.

I’m booked in on same day and same hospital as you, I think you’re in earlier than me so just imagine how you’ll be all done before I go down for mine.

You’ve made the right decision for sure because you wouldn’t have made it if you didn’t feel like you wanted this procedure :). You’ll be absolutely fine 🙂

Not long now after reading alot of people’s comments they say it’s the pain after the surgery that hurt, ive not read or heard anyone say anything bad about the actual surgery.I hope it goes well for u xx

My consultation is tomorrow
at 11, im really hoping for Dr Traynor and im unsure on size at the mo! But so excited to start the ball rolling! I’m sure when I book my date and it gets closer I’ll start freakinh out too. Xxx

@mrssheppard2be I think it’s completely normal to feel anxious, mine is on 20th December but I am going with Transform. From what I have read, the surgery part is the easiest part, the actual healing process is the tough bit! Just stick to rules, take it easy, look after yourself and don’t judge them early on! Fingers crossed for you Hun, you’ll be fine! Think how fast 6 weeks will fly by and you’ll be buying new bras and underwear sets! That’s what I am most excited about 🙂 don’t think negative, think of all the positives of having it done xx

This forum is great having people to talk to who know how your feeling! How are you feeling have you got everything sorted? I’ve just booked my hotel staying at the martiot! This time in two days we will both be done! Hard to believe! Defo pop in and see me if u can find me will be lovely to have someone there to takk to 🙂 thanks so much for the message xx

@mrssheppard2be it went well! I ended up booking my surgery date today and paying my deposit. I’m booked in for January 11th with Dr Marcellino. I originally wanted Traynor but was told he’s only up north so Id have to travel there which would be a right pain. I did a bit of research on Max Marcellino and all seems good so I’m going to meet him on 8th December for my post op and my medical check. I’m quite nervous now that I’ve parted with money but just trying to remember why I’m doing it! Your op is so soon omg! What are you getting and who are you having?? xxxx

Im feeling alot less anxious today which is good and starting to get butterflies again woohoo!! Im having 400cc unders with mr traynor currently 32a hoping to achieve at least a D. 400cc is the max i was offered and went with that as i see so many girls on here saying they wish they had gone bigger. What size are you looking to achieve? Xx

I think a D / DD, im so petrified of going to big and looking trashy and not being able to hide them, then again I’m also scared of paying all this money and not going big enough! It’s so hard. I’m a slim size 8 / 10 so I just don’t want two footballs attached to me lol as it’s not my thing, just wanna look womanly in non padded pretty bras!
I had 400 cc on my head too. It’s so hard make sure you send pics of yours before and after! And good luck!!xx

Ahh that’s good.. Exciting!! I can’t believe it’s tomorrow it’s all happened so fast as my consultation was only 7th Nov!! I’m a day case my sisters taking me & picking me back up after! Are you staying over? I’ve bought 5 different sports bras 32D to 34DD as no one has told me what size it will take me to & I’m not sure how much they swell I still need to decide which size implant I’m having! What abou you? Are you all organised? I will look out for u there 🙂 Xx

@samanthaactonxx i know omg this time tomorrow! Im so unsure on bra sizes too im curently 32a so have bought one 34d and one 34e as i dunno what size i am going to be either! Im from newcastle to having to stay at the marriot over night which is a bit if a pain then drive back next day! Are you having unders? I am, hopeing theyre not too painful! How u feeling? Im really nervous but in such a worrier have been cleaning all evening just to keep myself busy haha xx

@mrssheppard2be Hi Lisa, omg super excited now !!! Was a tad nervous earlier but it’s passed now haha.
I can’t believe it’s nearly time ? bring on the melons! We’ll be fine, nothing a whole stack of painkillers won’t sort out. I’ve stocked up loads of paracetamol and ibuprofen for the day and night nurse for bed time lol….. I’m determined to sleep at night.

Same I’m 32a & having 350 hp unders so should be similar to you abit smaller 350s the most he would offer me.. Have you got time to to relax once you get home? yeah just keep busy it will be over with so quickly, it doesn’t seem real to me yet!! It is scary thinking that we will be waking up tomorrow with new boobs but exiting at the same time ?? I just hope they look how I imagine xxx

How are you today,? did you sleep well, ? pain at a minimal I hope! What time did you leave? And are you happy with your twins so far? 🙂

I was in room 3 yesterday, after all the forms and visits by doctors, anethiatist’s and surgeon I fell asleep, I only woke up when they came to get me for surgery. I went down at 2.40pm and was awake talking to lovely guy in recovery at 3.50, I couldn’t believe it was all done 🙂
I’m finding that it’s not painful just achy more than anything, slept pretty good tbh, winner, winner!!

Hubby just this sec brought me breakfast in bed, so not all bad 😉 xx

@mrsingi morning so glad to hear everything went well! You must have gone in straight after me i came around just befor 3 i think it was its all a bit of a blur now (how strange) i woke up crying my eyes out and i just didnt know why haha! Cant believe i worried all last week and how totally fine the whole day was haha!! I slept ok i have just dozed on and off all night really im finiding by back is the most sore from sleeping at a 45 degree angle! Pain is fin tho like you say more achy, i feel like my muscles are pulling everytym i move my arms! Im waiting for my other half to wake up so we can go down for breakfast and get on the road to home-want my own things lol! Eeee still cant believe we are all don you know im so happy haha 🙂 do you have strapping ontop? I do… Wasnt expecting it bt me traynor came to see me after op and said sometimes he puts it on sometimes he doesnt. Its noT bothering me i would just love to be able to see them more haha xx

How are you all managing to sleep at 45 degree angle? I just used lots of high pillows but must have slid down on my sleep & woke up pretty much flat. Was impossible to get up this morn had to ring my mum to come & push me up hah! Had tears in my eyes as I was trying for ages but couldn’t do it ? Did you have no problems getting up? xxx

@samanthaactonxx i hav a v pillow and lots of other ones behind me but i woke up every few hours and had to get my bf to push me up from behind my back, stand up then he sorted pillows and i got back into bed. Its hurting my back more than anything to be honest! I left my hotwater bottle at home stupidly too so hopefully tnyt that will ease my lower back, i also had a pillow under my knees as thats supposed to stop you sliding! I cant even feed myself proply this morning im more restricted than i thought, wouldnt say pain though. They are so heavy when i stand up too haha! Xxx

@samanthaactonxx. @mrssheppard2be, sleeping upright is pretty hard work but like you Lisa I have a v pillow and loads of others around me, so I just moulded into them, I woke at 4am and 6am so not bad really.
I’m so pleased all of us are done now and into recovery time and yes it’s funny now how we worry and then when it comes to its over with before you know it! It’s a good job we have good people to look after us, lifting us up in bed and so on haha. I’m going to take pics each day to so I can see how much they change.

Lisa, I’ve not got any strapping, it’s weird that Mr Traynor used it too as he doesn’t usually, still it won’t be on for long and he must have done it for good reason.

V pillow is a good idea I’ve asked my mum to see if can get me one while she’s out, (I feel like everyone is being a slave to me at min as I can’t do anything for myself!) Where did you get them from? I’ve got back in bed now & the pillow under knees definitely helps, thanks for the tips ☺️ Hopefully tonight I’ll have better nights sleep!! Have you not got any pain my ribs hurt underneath my bra on one side just beneath the plaster, I hope this is normal?

I haven’t taken my bra off since I’ve had them done but I’ll take some pictures as soon as I can bring myself too! They’re making me feel a bit queezy at min I’m a big baby!?

& Lisa your pic does look good, I bet you can’t wait to get the strapping taken off!! Im just excited to see the end results once they’ve dropped & for us to all be able to go shopping for pretty bras.. You will be all set for your wedding ??

@samanthaactonxx i got my v pillow from fenwick, i think you can get them on ebay not sure how long they would take to deliver though! Glad u feeling more comfortable now, i am so happy to be home and have my hotwater bottle on my back.

Ive also got pain on my ribs i keep chekinh my bra isnt rubbing on my dressings, im wearing an m&s sportsbra atm gunna change into my macom tonight though feel so dirty (lush i know lol)

I had a peak before I’ll try to upload one now but looks awful as I can’t even get my bra off myself! I feel I’ve gone too big for my frame as such a massive difference , they were none existent before but I’m hoping it’s the swelling & will look more natural once they drop!!? Xx

P.s do you know when we can wash the marker pen off? I suppose you won’t be able to until your strapping come off? Xx

Babe my op is in 11 hours and I can’t wait! Try to relax and look at lots of ba accounts on Instagram. I had 4 meetings with my surgeon and checked out this forum loads and it really helped. I haven’t got an ounce of nervousness now, just struggling to sleep with excitement! Good luck and enjoy it. You had your reasons for doing it in the first place, remind you self, put an old bikini on ? you’ll be fine xx

Samantha sorry to hear you think youve gone to big…. I wouldnt try and judge the size just yet i think they will be really swollen at the min and will do lots of changing in the comming weeks ?

Aj the car journey was totally fine actually i had my v pillow behind me then another pillow between my chest and the seatbelt! Planning on chilling on the sofa all day today in my pjs ?

Girls im so suprised at how little pain i am in was expecting it to be much worse! Although i feel so bad getting everything done for me ?? xxxx

Samantha, I mis read your last post about going too big, don’t worry just yet you’ll be very swollen and change so much over the next few months, I’m sure you look amazing !!

I had night nurse last night, thought I’d give it a go cause it usually know is me right out and it did, fell asleep after I’m a celebrity and just woke up now, defo doing that again tonight haha.

I’m having another lazy day too, although I’m having to be careful how far I reach, do and move etc cause my pain is so low I’ve to force myself not to do much and remind myself that I’ve got to be careful so as not to ruin the twins and yeah feel bad that everyone is having to look after me too.

Happy days that we’re feeling good i have literally just said to my mam that i need to remind myself my body has been through alot although i feel good i dont want to wear myself out and struggle next week when i dont have my partner here (he works away and is only home until thursday mornin) then i’ll be on my own with my daughters!

Can you take night nurse aswel as paracetamol and ibruphen? Might keep thay in mind although i slept well, i had my alarm set for every 4 hours for pain killers.
I tried to change my bra to my macom lasnight but i couldnt get it on it was too small? Im sticking with m&s zip up sports bra as it seems really comfy! What about yous have you managed to get a wash yet? I feel really grubby lol and my skin is SO oily???? Is this normal lol

I know it’s great isn’t it! I think we’re are quite lucky judging by some people’s stories I’ve read re pain ?
Keep reminding yourself though cause when your OH goes back to work you still won’t be able to do what you did and don’t wanna risk damaging them or you. How are your girls with you after the op? are they being all motherly and helping you? At least they aren’t tiny babies and can do some stuff for themselves so makes it a tad easier.

I forgot to say, I don’t take paracetamol and Night nurse together ( you can take it with ibuprofen though ) there is 1000mg of paracetamol in night nurse (20ml dose ) same as prescribed by the hospital but for some reason it just knocks me out so I slept like a baby and feel proper refreshed today 🙂

Oh no your Macom is too small, in the back you mean or round your new twins? What size did you get? I must admit I love how your M&S bra looks I may go get one of them today or tomorrow.

I was going to ask you about washing but didn’t wanna sound grubby lol, I’m going to get in a shallow bath today and change my bra and yes! My skin is really oily, I’m assuming it must be normal. It’s mainly oily around my chest and could be the iodine.. ? They use before surgery? Dunno! But hopefully after a bath it will feel less oily.
