Help girls? Trying to book ba

Hi ladies. Reading on here I’m really concerned about recovery time. My pc said I could return in a week? Anyone else go back this soon?

I went back after 2 weeks. I could have gone back after 1 though but i had already booked 2 off work x

I think it all depends on the individual and what your having Hun, as a rule unders take more recovery than overs, some people heal a lot quicker than others, and also depends on the type of job you have Hun. I took 2 weeks off with unders, was back to driving at 10 days (tried at 7 days but couldn’t put it into reverse or 5th gear so waited until I could to be safe as didn’t wanna kill anyone haha) I found day 3 and 4 the worse with being sore and uncomfortable but after that each day just got better and better 🙂 what are you having Hun? Xx

Im one week post op today. I went back to work on the second follwing day after my op and although had to be driven, I felt fine as long as i kept on top of my meds. Managed to wash/blow dry/ roller my own hair on day 3 too. I had unders and although im not saying they were pain free, I have been amazed at how little they have affected my routine so far. Drove to work today too 🙂 xxx

Ah ok so a week might be ok? I’m having overs so hoping a bit less painful. Wow that was a quick recovery.
Dreading the bf being in control of what my fair looks like! Xx

I went back on day four!

I had overs, and booked a week off work. I could wash my hair over the bath and get in and out the bath the following day. I could get around easily enough just restricted in some movement and was quite tired. Was fine by the following weekend and going back to work on the Monday x

Hiya Hun,

I had overs, had my op on Friday, went to work on Monday, work as a receptionist, so just sat down all day. I couldn’t lift my arms,
Carried really small hand bag, with basic essentials.
