When I went for my one week check up my nurse said I could shower from day 10, so this afternoon I’ve had my first shower however she said the plasters over my incisions should come off in it which they didn’t.
Obviously now they are all wet but I don’t know if I’m supposed to take them off??
I’d suggest you take the dressings off if they are wet, you can let your wounds get wet now but they should stay wet for long or soak which is sort of what’s happening if you leave wet dressing on I’d think. It’s def not going to do any harm to take them off 🙂
