morning girls…I am 6WPO tomorrow and the past few days in my left boob i’ve all of a sudden started to feel a tightening sensation? like muscle contraction..
it just comes and goes and stays for awhile, all of a sudden it will feel like morning boob and like the muscle is tightening…
i know i am only 6 weeks post op, but feel like it’s strange that out of the blue to start feeling like this, think i felt like this maybe in first week or so but i definitely haven’t since, then all of a sudden this tightening is happening it’s also happening alittle in my right breast but nowhere near as much or as strong as my left …my biggest fear now is this is the start of capsular contracture 🙁
my 6 week check is on monday so will speak to nurse but was wondering if there is any girls who are further down the line and experienced this also? and it was perfectly normal and it stopped?
i am trying not to panick but can’t help but feel this is definitely something not right :/
I was 6 weeks post op Monday and started feeling this the last 3 days in my right breast. It has t dropped and feels like a tightening sensation. Not sure if it means it’s starting to drop or not. How do you feel now? I am seeing my surgeon tomorrow and have so many questions for her xxx
Hi Lorna i was 6 weeks post op sunday so we at the same
stage, i told the nurse and she asked if i was in pain which i’m not also she had a good squeeze all round my boobs and asked if i felt any pain which i didn’t..she told me to keep an eye on it and if it starts to feel painful at any point contact them asap..
i’m still randomly getting the tightness sensation just all of a sudden i’m sat at my desk and will happen so it’s not like i’m lifting or doing anything at the time xx
At least she didn’t seem too worried when she felt it.
I don’t have a pain but I do get achy in one spot prior to a period and that spot has been a bit achy and sore for the last few days.
I am seeing my surgeon tomorrow so I hope it’s all ok.
I have had nothing but anxiety over mine so every niggle and funny feeling it’s been making me so panicky.
Never known anything like it.
Mine randomly feel tight more times than others. I hope it’s not CC.
I think I have double bubble in the other so it’s such a hard time for sure xxx
Hi ladies im exactly the same same .. and im nearly 6 weeks too. Mine is mainly in my left boob and im sure it is where it is dropping, the morning boob description fits perfectly. Ive googled and researched and asked friends who have had and they ll say it is natural, and that there is a long way to go in the healing process. From what I have read it is all to do with nerves healing. Lornag i know what you mean about everything worrying I feel like im passing milestones with relief.. The tops of my arms always ache horribly in the morning too, god knows what i do with them.
Hi Sabrina thanks for the update! Hopefully we are just healin Iv convinced my self today I have CC on top of all the other worries I have!!! Thank god im seeing my surgeon tomorrow as I really don’t know how much more I can take!!
I have tired googling tightness etc and it just comes up about cc and I feel worse for it.
I was hoping it’s just part of the dropping too – as I’m feeling and very aware of my boob on the side now too – as if it’s dropping down and fluffing perhaps. I can hope.
Iv fiddled with that side so much today now it aches so Iv made it worse for my self ! Goodness me.
I’m going to try and relax tonight and tomorrow and not touch them until I see my surgeon. Hopefully I’ll have a lot of worries put to bed!
Chip up girls – it’s all we can do while we wait xxx
that’s what i kept finding when i googled was all about CC so made me worse… i do feel more relaxed now i’ve seen the nurse..yourprobably right sabrina is the nerves healing and everything else dropping and settling into place…
it’s very easy to get anxious and stressed out over them think google can make it worse at times…hope you get to chill Lorna and all goes well tomorrow xx
Hi hun, I saw my surgeon yesterday and I asked about the tightening. She said its all competely normal – they will go hard somedays, in the morning etc etc, its all part of the healing. They will ache and feel strange and odd but its all normal.
If you get any serious pain I would contact your nurses asap, but for now we have to be patient 🙁
Long process ladies unfortunately xxx
