Hi girls
Really need tips and advise
I hade 375 left and 400 in right
Im soo tight and sore tops of breast cannot raise arms sleep i feel so heavy
Any advise
Im on co codomol every 4 hours
@nancyb hey Hun I’m 2 days post op now the first day is torture but I couldn’t have cocodomal! I just had paracetamol and ibruprofen. Try ice packs on the tops of your boobs and the sides under your armpits/ribs I found that helped a lot. When I was laid in bed I rested my arms on lots of pillows so they’re not just by my side maybe get someone to help you pile pillows on top of eachother and rest them like that? Drink lots of water I found the more liquid I drank the better I felt. I feel much better today after doing all that… hope you feel better soon hun it’s a horrid feeling but it does get better !! Xx
I just want to cry
I didnt think it would be like this
Mum sister at work so on my own trying to plod along i struggled peeling a banana
Hows the pain and tightness for you
Hey girls, I had my op yesterday and my ribs feel sore too as my whole chest area (as you would expect). I had quite small implants, 225cc, so I’m guessing the pain won’t be as much but hoping it goes down!! Do you guys have codeine? The nurse gave me some last night but said I couldn’t take any away with me….have you tired that? It really worked for me but god could I feel it when it wore off! Hope your are feeling better soon! Xxx pa does your bra feel really tight?? X
Hi girls I’m 2DPO and I’m feeling the same! Reassuring to know others are as some people seem to breeze through the whole procedure. My stomach feels bruised on the left side but I can’t see anything, just keeping on top of painkillers and ice packs xx
I had 375/400 hp on Sunday! I’ve taken no pain killers apart from co codamol yesterday! I am in pain but I find when I don’t move is when it’s the worst so I’m constantly moving around etc! I’m sore on my incisions but I expected that! If anything I feel like I’ve just done a heavy heavy chest workout at the gym! By day 4 you should be feeling better I promise!!!
Reading all this makes me panick. Mine is in 3 weeks. Is the pain really this bad? Is it unbearable to the point you are crying?
Hi girls, it definitely does get better trust me, I’m 10dpo and I really struggled for the first week thinking was this worth it, will the pain stop, when will I feel normal again? But I can finally say I can see light at the end of the tunnel, I feel A LOT better! My right is still swollen and rather numb but we have to treat them as seperate operations! Just hang in there, keep on top of your pain killers and antibiotics and you’ll be fine. It’ll all be worth it in a few months 🙂 x
Kelly don’t panic because even though it’s uncomfortable you’ll feel t was worth it! I’ve got strapping on and I think that’s what is making me so uncomfortable. I just took my macom off for about 10minutes and it’s given me so much relief!!
I’m 5 weeks post op. First few couple of weeks are very painful, I don’t think people mention this enough in these forums. Especially with unders the pain is worse. Just keep applying ice hunni, and if you can’t manage the pain phone your GP who will prescribed you stronger pain relief. I did this at day 2 as I just could cope and I’m glad I did call them. Sending healing hugs, I promise it’s worth all the pain ???? xx
Try ice packs and keep on top of meds but try and find a happy medium between resting but also keep moving little and often. I was only really sore first 3/4 days then it gets easier every day I promise. I’m just over 2 weeks now and practically normal just a bit stiff in the mornings. Also lots of water and up your protein. Hope you all feel better soon. Xx
Are there any tablets you recommend getting in first , so if i need them i can take them ? My doctors is miles away i live in the countryside, i couldn’t drive there to get tablets . Hahahha. ice packs help also? where do i buy them from. God I am nervous!
@kellyhalse if the nurses think you need pain relief they will give you a supply! So don’t worry about that! If you want something quite high I’d say milk it and tell them you’re in a lot of pain etc otherwise like me they will just send you away without anything! I think if you’re quite an active person the pain isn’t as bad? (Just my opinion) my friend had hers done and went down to London the next day for 3 days as a training course from work and she was fine! It’s not that bad it can just be uncomfortable! I wouldn’t worry about it at all. For me the pain was worse when taking the drains out ????????

If you are going under the muscle it is not for the faint hearted and definately alot more painful than over the muscle. Im 3 weeks post op and still tender to touch. Going under the muscle is much more invasive with a longer recovery period.
Its managable with pain releif and rest- but you need to set aside a couple of weeks before things become easier.
I had under the muscle and like I say everyone is different with different pain threshold. I was just given co codamol and ibuprofen automatically really as I wasn’t in any pain in the hospital. I agree with Eleanor I think trying to still be active but be careful makes recovery easier as it was the same when I had c sections.
Order some ice packs on amazon and get them in the freezer ready. My nurse has always kept telling me to up my protein even if it means having protein shakes. It helps healing. Xx
Girls i didnt expect this no one mentions this in the forum youre right Victoria
I didnt expect this i feel so emotional i can’t brush me hair open the tap or door
I just wish i get better quickly the antibiotics making me so sick
So sorry to rant girls but who else do i rant to no one understands
In the middle of my boobies that bones is very sore too
Pottering about definately makes it easier… the longer you sit the stiffer you will be.
Hey girls, I got my BA done about 16 hours ago now… not even been a day but I have drains in and I think the pain is coming from them, it’s really intense pain all down my sides and nothing on the front. II am still in the hospital as stayed the night but I can’t even sit myself up because of the pain. I’m worried about when they discharge me this evening if I’m actually going to be okay as I’m feeling really anxious that I won’t be able to move properly and my family will damage me trying to help me move. Can someone please give their advice on what their first day was like after their op? Thank you xoxox
@dollygrace Hi Charlotte, happy new boobie day! The first few days were exactly the same for me, have you had unders? Just go steady with your movements, accept as much help as you can from your family (something I struggled to do!) try and find the happy medium between resting and keeping active. Keep on top of your painkillers and don’t let the pain get ahead of your medication and drink plenty. It’s going to feel like forever and it will be an emotional rollercoaster, but we’re all here to support you! I promise by day 5 you’ll feel soooo much better all of a sudden. Keep us updated on how you’re doing xxx
Thank you so much!! At least I know I’m not the only one. I just want these drains out they are so uncomfy 🙁 how long did your pain last for? I had 375cc partials what about you? I just hope the next few days hurry up!!! Xxx

Hi Charlotte I’m 3dpo 350cc unders and have had a rough few days. You have to let someone else help you do not over do it. If you were like me and had no boob before it’s going to be a complete shock. Just keep your meds up and get up and move about when u can x
