Hey everyone, I’m currently 3 weeks post op and the last week I’ve noticed my boobs becoming more and more uneven.
I emailed my surgeon and he said that my left breast looks swollen and to wait it out – but I’m feeling really scared as it seems like my left breast sits lower than my right and I’m stressing myself out by thinking it’s bottoming out?
I have 400cc under the muscle and if ANY of you experienced asymmetry this badly could you please share photos of it “sorting itself out”?
Is there anything you would recommend for me to do to help this uneven situation or do I really just have to leave it? I’m scared that it’s only going to get worse.
I’ve attached before, 1day po pictures as a comparison too.
I’ve always had a LOT more pain in my left than my right – almost like I can “feel” the implant more and shooting pains.
Also I’m unsure exactly what dropping looks like – do you think one of my breasts have dropped and one hasn’t? If so, which one?
As you can see my left looks significantly bigger, sitting lower, nipple higher so I’m really getting scared.
Thank you so much in advance!
Hi Mia! I cant offer any advice but I am in the exact same situation as you are. I had a fall about 5days post op and have put my left arm out and since then it looks like my left has dropped alot.
I went 325cc under muscle. If I run my finger near the incision on my left boob I can feel the implant ripple.
Thank you so much for replying! I feel in a very similar situation to you. I can also “feel” my implant sitting lower on my left. Is yours really swollen on one side?
Ah I see we’re in a similar boat! Do you have more pain in one than the other?
Yeah I have a lot of pain in my left boob which goes up my arm and under my armpit. Have you got a follow up booked? Sorry I dont have any advice but you’re not the only one in your boat 🙂
I’m sorry to hear that, that sucks! 😔 My pain is more in the central inner part of my left implant. I have a 6 week check up mid January but I’m really scared of it getting worse by then. Hopefully someone responds soon to reassure us that it will settle! 😅
Have you used a breast band at all? My surgeon has advised I can very gently try and massage in the implant to help it drop
Yes I’ve worn a breast band since my op and have one week left of it (4 weeks total). From my pictures would you say one of mine have dropped and if so which one? I can’t quite work it out 😭
I havent worn a breast band and I’m worried that may have affected it.
I would say from the pic, the left one looks like it has relaxed more. Do you have a side pic. With mine, there is a lot of underboob on the left side.
I think yours look amazing!! I’m sure they will settle soon 😊 feeling super anxious about mine 😭
Please dont be anxious. Its got to be the muscles. . Are your textured or smooth implants? Are you able to contact your surgeon?

Mine is exactly the same im 3 weeks post op 400cc under muscle extra high profile x
I have pain in my left boob in the inner bit all the time and none in my right its weird ain’t it x I’m 19 days post op too and my left nipper was lower to start with so I know that makes a difference but I’m always getting weird pains in my left one
Exact same! I’m 400cc under the muscle and I get pain in my left breast in the middle point from the nipple to my cleavage more than anything. Who was your surgeon? And would you be willing to post any pictures of your situation so I can see if we have the same thing going on? I’m so worried still that I’ve started wearing my breast band under my boobs because I’m scared my left is bottoming out…
My implants are smooth – I contacted my surgeon and he told me to wait… but it seems to not be getting any better so I’m hoping someone has been in this boat and can provide a before and after or help my anxiety with this 🙁
I’ve had textured implants and never wore a breast band. Can you feel your implant at the bottom near the incision? My left one is really noticeable now 🙁
Yes I can feel it – you can see a shadow on my left breast under my incision where it’s sitting on the photos above. I’m so worried 🙁 How is yours looking?
Look at how low my left one is compared to my right. I’m so anxious it makes me so worried…

Mine are exactly the same. I am getting concerned and questioned if I should have stayed above muscle. the shiny looking bit on the left boob is where you can feel the implant.
I would wait because you really can’t tell when they are healing. Wait until at least 6 weeks post-op and then contact your surgeon maybe. It’s normal for one side to drop at a different rate to the other.
