help stiches have dissolved too fast

I had labiaplasty done on monday and i used an ice pack as told by the hospital. but i think the ice has made the stiches dissolv too fast and now im left with two open wounds. im mortified and really scared really didnt want anything to go wrong. Got an apointment to see surgeon tomorrow has this happend to anyone? will it be allrite or will the healing process have to start complety again

It wont have been the ice hunny, dissolvable stitches are decomposed by the body, they wont dissolve in water etc, I found this out when I had my appendix removed and was terrified of having a bath lol! Massive hugs chick, let us know how you get on? xxxx

Went to go and see the surgeon today she put me on some more antibiotics to try prevent infection as the wound was open. Said it should be fine tho was relived to have some good news . Seamed quite shocked at the brusing but i had expected more tbh. The only thing is im really bleeding i cant tell were it is coming from seams too much to be from the wounds but im not due on my period for another week so i didnt think it would be that. all a bit confusing coming coming from the same area arghhh how frustrating. surgeon said it might have been blood that was blocked behind the stiches coming out after swelling had gone down but deffinatly think its too much for that. hopefully it will settle down.
