Hi this is my story I am very sorry to put this up but I am getting nowhere and now feel like a monster. I had breast implants by mya in February 9 2012 as it was life changing thing for myself. as I was not fully formed breasted I had always wanted it done. I went for my first appointment in St. Albans and met a surgeon she was very lovely staff were awsome and was told to go under my partners name while I have consultations and my op. I was ok with this and payments were going out my bank account and proof this was me that was paying for it. as months past I was told my surgeon was busy and was advised to go with another Mario Russo. I thought ok cool I trust ur judgement herd very good things from mya forum then had to then make travel to old Holborn clinic which was costing me more money then to another clinic after my surgery at this time I felt I should back out because things started to seem a bit dodgy moving to different clinics. but because I wanted surgery so bad I carried on the day I wanted to feel like a normal women. I made my last payment. And then all hell was broke lose.I was changed hospitals last min I was provided with a dirty B and B covers in mould which was outrageous as months past my breast have still remains the same and the implants just look stuck on behind my tiny as breasts I did call mya year half ago also this year but no response at all asked for help they told me call hospital where I had it so I called them they said mya would contact me I have still herd nothing my implants are slipping not only they r slipping they are rippled and look like scrunch up paper bags and turnin and been getting painful every year I was told I was having 525cc over I just looked at my booklet and it says 460ccbut not sure it just a standered manual. I been to my dr and he is saying my implants r under my muscle that y there has been no change in shape or size . I’m in absolute bits I still look like a freak any bra or top I wear u just see my old breast with 2 implants behind like too sets of breast as I have 5 year garuntee. .I would like to know y this has not been dealt with and thinking to going to the papers and press . I paid huge lot of money my life savings Infact all I want is my breasts which I asked for but no 1 will help me because apparently the surgeon left due to many bodge jobs he did but that is not mine or the hospitals fault mya hired him he was a surgeon paid by mya. but I am s mya patient please help me because I don’t want to go down solicitors and claiming xtra compo I just want it rectifyed and too been see and not ignored thank u xxx

You’ve been like this for 3 years? I feel so sorry for you. It’s absolutely appalling and ignorant behaviour from MYA which you shouldn’t have to stand for after investing hard-earned cash into a procedure that’s supposed to be worth it, not a regret. I’m so sorry you’ve had such a bad experience – I really think it’s time for some MYA clinics to vest some interest into their patients rather than just their money. I really hope someone gets in touch with you and rectifies this. Don’t be afraid to spread word, go to newspapers or even take legal action, you’ve been really compliant until now and unless your tough with them, they’ll just ignore you. Your surgeons downfalls are NOT your fault and if anything MYA are at fault for not thoroughly quality checking and ideally should have provided treatment by now rather than turning their backs when they know it’s a massive mistake on their behalf.

Thank u girls because the surgeon got fired I got told they could not help me I have a nurse appointment Monday so I’m hoping it will all be sorted it’s tearing my life apart they r worse wen I first had them xxx

So for first time in 3 years I have my nurse appointment I been longing for since change of management mya have really stepped up so helpful and understanding not like couple years ago just took my money and left me like a monsterI hope they can sort out this mess wat that horrible surgeon done have hope for me girls

I am so happy have not stopped crying for happiness meet the most nicest nurse Tegan she was so understanding and reassuring that I am going to get help I am so thankful to mya mangers, staff (Brooke?) and nurse Tegan? never thought day would come I have appointment sat with Dr Fiumara to discuss wat she can do for me I’m so excited if any girls could show me some pics of her amazing work I would really appreciate it more reassurance would be amazing ???

Just read your post and so glad when I scrolled down that I saw your comment saying you have an appointment with a new surgeon, your pictures look like something called double bubble when the implant slides below the normal breast tissue, I only know this cause I was explained what different things looked like before I had to surgery by my surgeon. So glad you’re getting what you want Hun! X

Omg is that wat is called I never herd that before I was never told this I’m just so happy the staff now are so professionalised and the mangers didn’t take long to decide they booked me in instantly couldn’t be more thankful

Ah that’s good, I think that’s what it could be and I’m sure my surgeon said if this does happen you are covered for a re op (not 100% though so don’t judge me haha) x

Well I paid over 5 grand plus extra at end of the day it’s there duty to take care of me they have to compensate 3 years of neglect least they doing something now ?

Omg it’s under 4 days I meet Dr fiurama I’m excited and nervous all at once ?

wooh you’ll like her she’s really good she takes her time measuring and making sure she picks the right sizes and let’s you know all the positives and negatives and was really honest with me about what i should expect! only 9 days till my op now when are you having your re-op? i’ll have to show you pics of her booby work xxx

OMG today the day after waiting 3 half years of help I finally get to me a surgeon I been up all night crying that I’m gonnA get turned away so scared I’m gonna be left a monster still can’t take the pain no more hope Dr Linda fiumara will help me

OMG I am sooooooo happy I see Linda and I am having my surgery done free she was disgusted way I was treated and was in shock I will here in 2 weeks who will do my op and when Thank u sooo much mya u truly are bounded by word and promise xxxx

not been a good 1 so I was told Saturday by Linda I will have revised surgAry but gotta wait for head office to book me a surgeon and date I just got a cAll saying they read her notes and she asking for a second opinion now why was I told different cant she make a decision herself that she needs another surgeons advice!!! This is really worrying .so far I’ve had to strip down twice by a nurse and a surgeon and also a girl supervising the surgeon all saying same thing but now another opinion .another load of money going to the clinic again but they don’t know wen I see this surgeon also been giving a pc in Chelmsford 2 hour drive in Essex and I’m in Hertfordshire I had my surgery in Fitzroy so y been chosen so far Way I’m not a freak show soo many pictures and eyes seen on my hideous boobs that have been butchered but I’m going round in circles I all ready feel like a monster and also robbed if I had 5 grand and said book me It be a different story ?????????

So update on my story my lovely nurse Lauren has booked me a appointment on 5th November for a 2nd opinion wiv Dr Max Marcellenio any 1 that has any operations please add me leave feedback but honestly looking at his website put me more at ease he looks very relaxed just hope he agrees to do my surgery ???

Hi Hun, I am having the same problem. I get fobbed off from Mya I have been calling for a year and nothing.
Dr Russo ruined my breasts I have rippling and what looks like folds underneath. I hate taking my underwear off I feel even more insecure than I did before my surgery. For a year I have been ignored, eventhough I saw another surgeon and he agreed that my breasts needed rectifying. So unhappy with MYA for their neglect. They took my money and left me with breasts that are worse. Do you have any advice at all? I’m at my wits end and I think I will have to take legal action now. X
