Hiya, i was 2 different sizes and had 2 different size implants, was a 34a/b and had 380 and 410 overs. I’ve taken loads of photos, i’m going to put them all on computer later so if you want to see let me know. I feel ok, just tender and sore really, and quite numb aswell…xx

good luck with your recovery chick, it will get hard but will then get easier, im 10 days and it is getting easier!!!

as for the sports bra i have bought a size bigger as it was kinda tight and felt uncomfortable but this larger size feels better.

When i take it off i feel as though they are gonna fall off lol.

i no i think its still a bit over welming, i cant wait for things to go back to normal like me being able to shower myself ha ha! sad really. i need another one as well sara as i only bought one just incase they didnt fit. im goin to make my bf go and get me one as im not leaving the house till i can wash and straighten my hair. no im not on the sofem web site how o u do it? was u a 34 to start with? cos iv got one bigger around the back if that helps? xx

oh and as for the still feeling nervy part, i’m the same, not really sure why!! haha nice to know i’m not the only one hun! Feel a bit emotional aswell, but trying not to show it too much, feel silly x x

I havent worn my bra that much hun, feels a bit too tight, only got the one so i’ll have to get another one, or ask someone to get me one at weekend…I ended up having 380 and 410, different sizes, sports bra is a 34dd, not sure if its too tight or if its just cos of the swelling…really not sure. 😉 Hey girls, thanks so much for your messages of support etc, brought a tear to my eye ;~)

Ok get comfortable, my turn to tell the story (I cant beleive i actually have boobs!!! big bobos!!! lol)

We left home at 5.30am yesterday morn, and got to highgate just before 7.30am, after 10mins we were shown to my room, think it was 316. The rooms are quite nice, comfortable and quite spacious. Within about 10mins the nurses etc came round, done my obs, went through all the paperwork etc, all the boring stuff. At about 8.15 Mr Adamo came in to see me, went through everything, drew on my chest etc, was quite strange, and said they would be back within an hour to take me down to theatre!!

I must admit i was a nervous wreck, was really emotional, cried a couple of times and felt really anxious, but was so lucky i had my partner with me, without him i doubt i’d of gone through with it!! Think the worst thing was sitting ther while he sat there and aint a big english breakfast in front of me!!! haha thanks darren ;~) my mouth was watering!!!

Anyway, he was right, 9.30am on the dot they came to get me for theatre, gave my boyfriend a hug n kiss and cried as i walked off! silly cow i know, but hey thats me!! lol We walked down to theatre, and within minutes i was lyin on the operating table, arms out with side with bloody pressure monitors etc hooked up, the next thing i know i had an oxygen mask put over my face, an injection (which i really do not like) put in my arm, and the room then went al blurry, i fell asleep…

Woke up at about 11am, just before in the recovery room, unfortunately i never seem to have a good recovery from anaestheitcs, i woke up and found it really hard to breathe, was given oxygen and pain relief and fell back to sleep. Woke up about 10mins later, tearful, and then realised i had boobs!! haha Asdked the nurse if i could have a mirror and she said she’d seen them, they were lovely but i had to wait till i was in my room!

Anyway, after about 10mins, and me asking if i could go and see my boyfriend i was taken back to my room. My boyfriend had a big smile on his face, think it was a mixture of being relieved to have me back but also seeing me with big boobs!! haha

I was given water, and after half hour i was given coffee and toast. I didnt feel very hungry, i never usually am after an op, so had 1 slice, and suprise suprise my boyfriend had the other, this was just before his 3 course lunch was delivered up to him!! haha over the next couple of hours i had my obs done regularly and just dozed on and off all afternoon. I must admit, althoug all the staff were lovely and helpful, when you asked, i felt as though i had been forgotten about, from about 2.30 onwards i didnt hear a thing till i buzzed them at about 4pm to ask for a drink and sandwich, and asked what was happening.
Mr Adamo came to see me about 4.30, said everything was fine etc, said he’d see me in 6 weeks and said i was allowed to leave for the hotel thats what i wanted, to go and relax properly!!

So about 5pm we left for the hotel. We stayed at the comfort inn, 10mins away, wasnt too bad, but although i was shattered i think i had about 2 hours sleep all last nite just couldnt sleep, dont know why. So feel really tired now!

Well thats my story, I have actually had it done and I still cant beleive it. Really cant. I am very swollen and in a little pain, but nothing too bad.

If anyone has any questions please ask away, i couldnt have been without this site and the lovely girls on here to give me all their advice and support the weeks leading up to my op. so thank you all so much!

Ok…i now have a few questions/queries to ask you’s that have recently had it done, if you dont mind?

My boobs are really high up at mo, one noticably higher than the other, is this pretty normal? I had 2 different size implants put in?

When i woke up this morn they were even more swollen than yesterday, suppose this is likely to happen?

At mo i’m wearing a 34dd sports bra, but it feels a bit tight, feels like its putting too much pressure on my boobs, so going to go through stages of wearing it and taking it off aswell, do you think this will matter? How often do you all wear yours?

I forgot to ask yesterday about massaging thm etc? does anyone know if this helps with the swelling etc? If so what is the best way to do it? Also do ice packs help with the swelling at all?

Sorry for all the questions. I’ll leave you all to it now, i’ve gone on enough!! haha
