AS I AM SUPPOSED TO BE HAVING AN UPLIFT & IMPLANT WITH TRANSFORM AND BECUASE MY GP SAID IVE HAD A BABY ONLY 10 MONTHS AGO, TRANFORM ARE NOW MESSING ME AROUND SAYING I MAY HAVE TO WAIT TILL DECEMBER!!
I AM NOT HAPPY AS THIS IS DEF THE WRONG TIME OF YEAR FOR ME, AS I HAVE A BABY N TWO KIDS TO THINK ABOUT OVER XMAS PERIOD!.

MY GP HAS WROTE TO THEM SAYING IT IS OK FOR ME TO GO AHEAD WITH IT, BUT WAS JUST ADVICE! BUT THE SILLY SURGEON AT TRANSFORM IS SAYING THE “GP HAS CONDRADICTED HSI SELF! IM FED UP OF WAITNG NOW!
AND THINKING OF JUST CANCELLING WITH THEM AND PAYING MAYA STRAIGHT OUT AND GOING WITH THEM!

PLEASE CAN YOU GIV ME AS MUCH ADVICE AT POSS!! AND TELL IF THE GP HAS TO BE CONTACTED!!

im 8days post op, had mine with mr adamo at highgate (mya)….i was told that i DONT HAVE TO contact my gp but i could if i wanted to…and i did….mya do a thorough healthcheck of u when u go to them so they dont need ur gp’s input thats why…however, i have heared that u should wait a bit after having a baby, although i dont know about 10months! i suggest u book a consultation with mya (its free) and discuss this with them, if they say the same thing then u may as well go with transform but if experts at mya say its up to u then u can cancel transform and go with mya. i recommend my own patient coordinator nadja, u can ask for her when u call mya…shes fantastic, very helpful and understanding…..i hope this helps. if u have any other questions that i could help with just ask.

I was given the option at MYA to contact my GP…however I had no health problems when I filled in the medical questionaire at Mya which may have needed to have been run by by my doctor first. My first BA was with Transform 10 years ago and again I had the choice whether to contact my doctor… it must have changed now.
I had 2nd BA 19 months after having my baby (had by cesarian section). I cant understand why you would have to wait 12+ months??. I know hormones can take up to 12 months to get back to normal but I would be interested to know why you would have to wait 12 months +??? It may be worth a 2nd opionion at MYA ??? I personally much prefered them to Transform. Hope this helps xx

i’m hopefully havin mine done on 23rd sep, wiyh mya you c, an sign a form to give consent to them gettin info from ur doc, but you dont have to sign it. I cant really see why they’re muckin you around like this. If you dont feel happy and confident with them then it could be worth changing, for your own piece of mind.

I have been so nervous with this whole thing, but i have to say being on here has helped we so much, therer are so many good reviews about this company, so many people that are really happy, havent read a single bad review on mya at all…

dont know if any of this will help you, but go with how you feel hun, this is an important time for you and you shouldnt be having to stress out this much. xxx

i’ve just had a look on the internet regarding having implants after giving birth. A few comments from surgeons I found were saying to wait 6 months after you have finished breast feeding to allow the breasts to settle down . I also read that even if you haven’t breast fed then ”the breasts still change in shape and size” after pregnancy and it is better to wait until they are completely settled down before having implants. I wonder if this is why they have said 12 months +?? Still really interested to know the actual reasons. Hope this helps xx
