Holiday before op

Hiya,
I’m going on hols to ibiza which means partying:)
My op is 6 days after I come back, will I have enough time to recover?

Good question i have a party the night before my op. i was wondering when i need to stop drinking

I was told not to drink 2 weeks prior in my lil booklet but my nurse at the pre op which I had a month before said 48 hours? Alcohol thins your blood so it’s not the best idea? x

I was in Portugal for a friend’s wedding up until the day before my op. The wedding was on the Friday and my op was on Monday – my surgeon said I could drink whatever I wanted at the wedding as long as I stopped 48 hours before. As it stood I ended up being more sensible than usual! x

@nadia I really wouldn’t drink the night before your op. If they notice they might cancel you on the day and worse case it could cause complications during surgery.
@Sarah you should be fine I was told 48 hours too xxx

Oh i definitely wont be drinking. i cant wait. feels like the op is ages away xx

ha ha, sorry sounded like you were wondering to what time that night you could drink. A bit like when I have to go to work and am wondering what time i should stop drinking 😛 When is your op? It will fly by!! xxx

ahh no i assumed i couldn’t drink a while before anyway. my op is on 22nd July. Rhinoplasty with Dr G Cant wait
