has anyone flown quite recently after their surgery?!!!!! I know they say wait 4-8 weeks short and long haul etc… is this JUST due to the fact you’re more at risk of DVT?

A friend of mine did one week post op, and she was fine. I personally wouldn’t risk it that soon after surgery. Who long is the fly?
