I’m completely aware of all the rules surrounding holidays after surgery – strap for a long time and a sports bra for 6 weeks etc…
But – I am going on holiday 2 weeks after my surgery – a relaxing holiday and my husband will be doing all the bag carrying etc.
My surgeon knows and has explained every single risk and has agreed it’s all managble and minimal risk. He’s tied in all my post op visits too so I can attend them. I know my scars aren’t allowed to see sunlight too.
The real question is: has anyone been away soon after? What did you wear?? Am I genuinely destined to have a full on t shirt tan?! Did anyone allow themselves an hour away from the sports bra?! Any advice?
