    Hey,

Im thinking of getting my op done before I go on holiday this year and spoken to my PC and they advised 4-6 weeks depending on whether you’re flying long haul or short haul.
The possible date to the Op to my holiday is 6 weeks and wondering how people felt at 6WPO and what they were able to wear?

I’m seeing Dr Marcellino on 31st so will definitely speak to him but just wondered if anyone had any feedback or tips on how they felt?

    Thank you xxx

Hello Hollie! I’m on my way to the hospital as it’s my surgery today (excited!) I’m on holiday 4 weeks after my surgery (5 hour flight) x and I’ve been told it’s ok! Just be careful like you can’t go swimming etc. Get in the pool (but not ur boobs!) by all means but like no swimming you don’t wanna get your incisions wet. The nurse told me it’s not so much the water, it’s what’s in it like the chlorine etc which will cause infections and complications. You can actually buy post op bikinis at Debenhams I’ve been looking. I don’t think you will need them as u will be 6 weeks so you can wear whatever you want like normal bikinis. But just incase u don’t feel ready there’s always the post op ones they’re like high impact supportive swimwear so jus like the sports bra Xxxxxxxxx
