Home after surgery

Did any of you girls just go home after your op rather than stay close by the hospital??x

IM going home i live about an hour away

I went home after i was discharged – live an hour and half away x

I live just over an hour away and I will be going home

I was told u had to stay with in 30 mins of the hospital. We were 2 hours away and thought it would be a long drive if something was to go wrong and I had to go back so we booked in a hotel xx

I got told I can go home afterwards as I’m having LA and sedation and live 2hours away. X

This makes me panic an wonder why they want u to
Stay close? Xx

It’s usually if you have GA I think x

I stayed in a hotel that was 10 minutes from Highgate as I live 2 hours away otherwise. I’m glad I did as wouldn’t have fancied 2 hours in the car straight after surgery x

Yeah I think it might be after a ga, but then saying that u have had the same op weather it’s ga or la. I just didn’t fancy a long trip back if some went wrong at home. And as an other lady said I couldn’t have coped 2 hours straight after I’m glad I got my head down for the night and headed home the next day xx

My pc said an hour away I’m having la!! Either way it’s an operation and with every operation there is a risk and things do sometimes happen that you may need to go back no matter what the procedure

I think I’m going home think ill want my own bed to be honest x
