    Hi,
Do I need to take a dressing gown and nightwear into Highgate Hospital tomorrow or will they be provided? I’m just in as a daycase.

I did but didn’t use them. I just popped the gown and my slippers on once I got in, and then when I was ready to be discharged I got into my onesie. I didn’t leave the room except to walk to surgery which took about 15 seconds, the gown was massive so wrapped around and then they took my slippers from me 🙂 and undid the gown anyway x
I took wet wipes, toothbrush and paste (as anaesthetic leaves a funny taste), lucozade & chocolate for after 🙂 my ipad for books and music, phone, spare underwear and pjs (just in case I got delayed or had to stay over – my admission was 2pm surgery after 4pm).
Other than that you don’t need too much xxxx

Yea I didn’t take much, just wore comfy shirt that fastened at the front so was easy to go home. I just stayed in hospital gown till home time. Magazines an stuff to keep u occupied incase u wait. An I’d definately take misfion’s advice an take toothpaste/brush, I’m glad I did as did have an awful taste in my mouth afterwards xx
