Hospital stay

I’m looking to book my consultation soon, but tbh Im waiting abit because of covid. Anyway i live in south wales and id have to stay overnight, which is no problem but my partner isnt happy for me to get a train up on my own.

are there hotel/travel lodge close by the hospitals? he does haulage for a living and drives to london quite often so he doesnt mind driving around or a bit further away if needs be.

ive started making an overnight list and picking up bits as time goes on (if you cant tell im quite excited)

What’s the concern with getting on a train?

My suggestion is getting him
To drive you down and up and for him
To stay in a hotel nearby. It’s what I did!

I’d be happy to get the train up but I also have an awful sense of direction! I live 40 minutes from Cardiff and still get lost haha!!

He is thinking of driving up and back both days (which he doesnt mind) we have a dog and nobody knows I’m having this done so this might be our only option unless we say were having a night away together haha! x
