Hospital/surgery day question?

Hey girls!
I had my initial consultation today at Manchester and booked for my surgeon consultation for 22nd September with mr traynor! ? Just thinking back to my consultation today and what we was talking about and my pc said that in the hospital only one person can stay with you, so the whole duration your there can you not have any more visitors at any point? Or are you literally only allowed one person with you for the duration your there? As I know my mum and boyfriend would want to be there but if I can only take one then I know the other would be worried sick! ?

I think I’ve read about people doing it in ‘shifts’- I think as long as there is only one with you at one time. But I’m not entirely sure – maybe check with your PC. Glad your appointment went well today x
