how bad did you feel 3 days post op

friends hen do 3 days after I have surgery really want to go… its at a her sisters house with hot tubs ect obv I know I cant go in that but there also going down the road for a meal and later on some company is coming in to cater sounds really good but just don’t know what to expect to feel like no one knows im getting it done so don’t really want to tell her that I might not be able to go any advice? x

what did you feel like groggy or pain..? I hope im ok even if I can just go for a hour don’t want to let her down xx

Hey Hun I am the same, I’ve got plans a couple of days after my surgery and don’t know what to expect. I suppose if we don’t go wild we will be fine ha x

You should be ok. I was feeling almost back to normal by then but everyone is different xx

I feel bad saying this but I kinda wish I was prepared for the painful recovery I had, I couldn’t of left the house at day 3. I’m day 8 now and it’s the first evening I haven’t had any pain. The first few days were so uncomfortable. But the majority of girls seem to be fine and I’m the unlucky minority! Everyone’s so different. 2 of my friends had no pain! And could do most things by day 3 though! xx

I felt pretty terrible day 3 as well, I think it was my worst day. I’ve had a very painful recovery and taking the meds took a lot out of me. I’m day 5 and went out to the shop for the first time and even that wore me out! Only just starting to feel human again. Everyone reacts differently though, it is dependant on a lot of factors xx

I was absolutely fine I was driving day 2 I literally and no pain just ached abit I also had local anaesthetic not genral so I don’t know if that help with the process of not feeling groggy!! Also even if you have no pain take the pain killers every 4 hrs at least for he first 3 days!!! I was prepared for pain I actually thought it would hurt that much I’d be almost dead haha!! It hurt went I laughed but that’s about it!! I have seen girls on here saying a lot day 3 is the worst!!

Day 3 was my worst day, I woke up with pains hen I took a breath in!! Topped up on painkillers and slept most of the day but by day 5 I was great!!! Everyone’s different Hun xx
