How did people get home after their op? Did anyone use public transport?

Thinking I should get an uber

I stayed in a hotel after my surgery because I live 3 hours away from London so got a taxi back to the hotel straight after mu op and then the next day I caught the Train home, completely fine I was much happier to be on the train rather than a car 🙂 xx

I got in a car but personally I would not recommend transport on the same day as your op. As your still going to be drosy and a little weak. But the following day might be ok. You defo need help and support if you do go on the same day. I’d bring two people one to hold your bag and the other to support you if need be.

I went in the car 2 hour drive and I was absolutely fine ? x

I was told under no circumstances could I use public transport to get home, it was in case anything happened to me and that I needed to be as comfortable as possible! So my partner drove me to the hospital and picked me up after he had played golf and j had my boobs done lol x
