    I’ve just got a place on the Great North Run and really want to start training again, but I have no idea where to start after my BA!! I don’t even know whether to start by running or not…

    I plan to do body pump, running, and body combat like I did pre op, but where should I start with the exercise??

    Hey Hun I’m 7 weeks post op or 8 haha can’t remember but i put on a stone in recovery I felt disgusting! And in 4 weeks iv lost stone and half … But little excersise .. I started off doing things at home like leg lifts squats little weights or u can just use tins of beans 🙂 I’m at the gym now no trouble but if u know anyone with a step machine they are brill as it’s all leg! Ease up when u feel better:) and don’t forget bum crunches whilst sitting down:)

    Hi…I started gentle exercising after 3 weeks. Just stationary bike and walking uphill on the treadmill. On week 4 I added spinning and abs, week 5 I included lower body weights..squats, lunges etc. im 6 weeks now and I back to full PT, today I’ve done 90 mins of spin and an hour of circuits. Just take it easy..listen to your body. By week 6 running shouldn’t be a problem at all 🙂 xx

    Hey Hun my nurse told me when I go back to the gym or exercise to wear a high impact sports bra and start from the beginning and take it easy and work my way up again xxxx

    I started running again after about 4.5 weeks were very supportive bras shockabsorber ultimate run bra in my case. Might eat to also wear a second sorts bra or just compression crop top over just to be on the safe side.

    Never had sweaty boobs pre op even running a marathon, (so small) now huge sweat patches yuck but worth it 😉
    Did 12k 6 weeks and 1 day after surgery.

    Also I had unders and actually for running it’s great as the muscle is prettying a basically bra as well so helps out the running bra 😉
