How long before you can drink alcohol again?

I’m 9 days PO. My stitches are healing fine ☺️ Just forgot to ask how long until I can drink alcohol again? Xx

I think they say not to drink to excess for 6 weeks xx

Hey I’m 18 days post op and the nurse told me today I can have the occasional drink, but it’s better to stay off it if you want to heal quicker xx

I thought as much ladies. Because I remember reading no drinking for 2 weeks but I thought today if the incisions still aren’t healed, then the alcohol will slow the process down again. I’m going to be such a light weight by the end of this!! Xxx
