How long did it take before you met with surgeon??

Hey girls! I am awaiting my initial consultation but I was just wondering how long did you have to wait before you met with your surgeon? And then how soon after can you book the surgery? I feel like part of me wants to book it for around 2 months in advance so I can prepare but then another part of me knows that I am going to be really stressed and nervous and I think I would rather book it quite soon to get it out of the way so that I don’t have too long to dwell about it! What did you girls do ? xxxxx

Once you’ve have your first consultation it’s up to you when you see the surgeon. But once you’ve seen him you have to have a 2 week cooling off period before you can have surgery.
I had my first consultation on 18th of January and am booked in for surgery on 7th March. I knew I wanted it doing so didn’t want to hang around and talk myself out of it lol x

I had my first consultation on 31st December and then I met my surgeon on 10th January and booked my op over the phone the day after meeting my surgeon, my surgery is booked for 3rd March xx

I have had my consultation this morning in Leeds. I am meeting Dr Andrea in 2 weeks – I completely forgot to ask – will I have to pay to meet the surgeon ? Xxxx
