How long do you have 2 wear a sports bra?

How long do you need 2 wear one for? I was under the Impression it was only 6weeks, but my nurse has told me 8-9weeks?!? :O also one of my boobs is still swollen & a little painful 2 touch. I’m 12 days post op

I thought it was 6 weeks! But I suppose if she’s saying 8-9 she’s saying it for a reason. I would say though after 6 weeks if you are going out etc u could wear a bra but keep ur sports bra on at home x

I’m 9 days post op now and my boobs still really high up and hard keep worrying there not gonna drop had my dressings off but still got to wear a chest band to try push them down a bit just waited so long for these just hope everything’s ok x there still really tender at night time but during day seem fine
