how long from 1st consultation to op for rhino?

I am just doing some research into having rhino. Really want it done but really new to the idea and have no idea about the process etc. Any info would be great and if you can add me that would be fab so I can see your fab noses, give me inspiration lol. Thanks girls xxx

hi Charlie, I just had rhino done and am recovering now. Cast is off in a few days. Feel free to ask me andy questions. I took a while over my decision – I went for a surgeon consultation then didn’t go for it, and then went for another surgeon consultation a year later and did! It all depends on how ready you are but sometimes you can meet the surgeon and book it for a couple of weeks time, other times they couple be booked up for a couple of months xx

Hey pixie. Hows the recovery going for you? I want to meet with a pc but not sure if I should wait. Coz im worried about time off coz of work. How long are you having off? I dont want to have to go in looking like a monster lol. Xxx

They say the normal amount is 2 weeks off work. Recovery is going ok, its not painful but its uncomfortable at times. xxx

Hi Charlie, its been over a year from 1st pc consult to surgery for me, I’m going in on the 1st May. You should definitely go and speak to a pc, its no obligations and its really good to get information and an idea of prices and surgeons available. Dr G I think is the one most people go for and I know he has a bit of a wait for surgery with him, can be up to 2-3 months or more. I am going to be off work for as long as the cast is on my face then going straight back. x x
