How long from initial consultation until procedure?

I’ve just booked in for my initial consultation and am keen to have my procedure before April (using up this tax years holiday). I was just wondering how likely this is? How long or little have any of you had to wait for your procedure?

I think it depends on the surgeon but I booked in at the start of January and I’m having my op on Wednesday!! So I’m pretty sure before April will be fine x

Hi Hun had my consultation, met the surgeon 2 weeks later & 4 week wait for the procedure so not long at all! If you have a surgeon in mind ask your PC for there availability at your consultation xx

Hi hun, it depends on your surgeons availability really. I had my first consultation with a PC two weeks ago and having the surgery on 19th of April as this was the only date that my surgeon had available. I had to pay £1000 to secure this. However, if you dont have a specific surgeon that you would like to operate on you, then Im quessing they will be able to fit you in before April.

Hey, I had my initial consultation on 1st Dec, had done lots of research and knew the surgeon I wanted beforehand so secured a date for £1000 and my op was 1st Feb x

I did a lot of research first and managed to have a consultation with my surgeon and pc and booked my op there and then, was only three weeks in between x

My initial was 13th Jan, and I booked my surgery that day for 19th March.
It all depends on if you know what surgeon you want/ what availability they have. You can book at the initial, but the deposit it £1000. Or you can book after your surgical consultation and the deposit is £500.
I personally booked on the initial because I was worried if I waited till my consultation, I’d have lost the earlier date x
