How long in hospital after BA??

Hey I have my surgery booked for the 30th of June. I’m trying to plan how I’m getting there and back it looks like I’m going to have to get the train as I live about 2 1/2 hours from London and my partner will have to stay at home with our 2 sons. If someone could tell me how long they were there before they were discharged I’d really appreciate it to help me plan ahead. Thank you xx

It’s either a day case or over night depending on the BA . x

I’m staying overnight, but it does say on the terms and conditions etc, you are not meant to go home via public transport.

Heya, I had my admission at 7:15am. I got discharged at around 4pm. But they said I would be able to leave at 1pm, but I was unable to pee and they didn’t let me leave until I peed, so can’t really say how long you will be there for as it depends on the case.
