Hi girls I’m a care assistant so obviously do heavy liftin how long should I have of work if I have a boob job. I don’t no how long my manager wil let me have off xx
Get a doctors note and your manager can’t do anything about it.
I’ve had two weeks off for my breast reduction but I think I may need another week off because my incisions are still a bit funny.
Depends what you’re actually having done, some girls on here have had overs and back at work in a week, I’ve had unders and I’m really swollen still, I go back to work tomorrow but I wish I had longer off, I’ve had a week and a half off xx
Hi danielle, im a painter and decorator so as you can imagine also a very manual job with lots of lifting, stretching and arm movement. I have booked my op for just before xmas as i was told id need 2 weeks off. I thought it would need longer but apparently not, obv see how things go though xx
Hi Danielle I’m a nurse I had 10 days off should have had longer really book 2 weeks off just to make sure. When you go back take it easy I’m sure your work colleagues will support you. X
I booked two weeks off work, I had partials. It says in our sick pay terms that any voluntary cosmetic surgery isn’t entitled to any sick pay. So I had to use my annual holiday for my op. So be careful as I would image most work places wouldn’t give you paid sick leave for it x
I took 2 weeks just to be on the safe side .. but I felt back to myself after about 4 days and would have easily gone back to work after a week off .. but everyone’s different you just have to make sure you relax and give your body enough time to heal 🙂
xx
