how long till the swelling goes down

had my op on friday and there huge!! went under the muscle and hear it takes longer for the swelling to go down?

I had partials which is inbetween the muscle layers on the 4th. Im 12 days po amd my swelling had gone after about 8-9 days. Hope youre healing well x
