    hey girls,
Im 2 days PO now and wondering how long I have to sleep sitting upright for? I start off the beginning of the night and when I wake up I end up a lot further down than I started, is this bad? or any tips and tricks to keep sitting upright? also how upright do u have to sleep, im scared its not enough and I might be doing damage 🙁 Its a complete pain cos I find it really hard sleeping on my back cos I usually sleep on my back, the V pillow is helping but my neck is absolutely killing me when I wake up cos I have shrunk down. Help xxxx

I’m the same I’m also flat when I wake up. I put a pillow under neath my knees which helps. The nurse said sleep at 45 degree angle…ok in adjustable hospital bed! Not so much at home.i only really sat upright on first night since then just been slanted….

I have no idea if im sleeping at 45degrees or not, think I may need more pillows hahaha! Nicole do you have any shooting pains in ur boobs? I keep getting it in my right boob, its been like that since straight after the op! The nurse said it might be the nerve connecting quicker than the left. Its sooo annoying, Ive seen your bad times with the strapping, soo glad I don’t have to have that, don’t get disheartened about it u just gotta think about ur amazing boobs at the end of it xxxx

No shooting pains ….yet! Lol I have enough issues don’t want that! The strapping is really rubbing and burning under my arms. I think sleeping at an angle helps with the swelling and drainage initially so by about a week post op flat should be ok.
