How long will the day be?

Hello! I have my op on Wednesday, so excited and my brothers boyfriend is kindly picking up after surgery but was wondering if anyone knows roughly how long you are at the hospital for, my admission time is 8am, I know this won’t be operating time but can anyone hint at how long the day might be!

I had my surgery at 9, was back in my room by 12.15 and left for home at 3.30pm! Think they like you to have eaten, drunk and done a wee before you go. Good luck!! xx

I was at the hosp by 11:30am went down at 2pm didn’t wake till 5:45pm left at 8/45pm once had eaten and could get myself up and about x

Yes my admission time was 7.00am when down at 10.20am and woke up around 1ish. But didn’t leave to go home till around 7.45pm so got to watch emmerdale lol … be prepared for a long day Hun as you have to wait for your surgeon to come back around and depends on how many ppl they have to do surgery on and see them afterwards and then your doctor to give your tablets for you to go home with and they won’t let you come without a chaperone they have to sign in to well they did at London Fitzroy or leave the building without it. And Stacey lol you had abit of a kip didn’t you haha made the most of it xx

Haha Emma I was so shocked at the time when I woke up!! My surgeon was a bit of a perfectionist though and he said I was a challenge as had to make them even by dropping one of my creases lower and he put staples around my nipples and because I had anatomical implants they are usually around 2 hours to fit anyway as a lot harder than round implants to fit but I honestly felt like I had a lovely long sleep!!

Haha! I remember waking up so comfy with heat blasting up my blanket and thought to myself shall I just play sleep for half hour more lmao. But then was to excited to see the baby’s so couldn’t pretend to still be asleep xx

Hey my admission time was 8am I was first on the list and was allowed home at 2pm they just like to make sure you have eaten something and are able to get up to go to the toilet, good luck with everything x x
