How longs recovery? How long til you go out and feel normal?

Just trying to plan ahead. How long would you say recovery was? And when will I be able to go out and feel normal x

Are you having unders or overs? I had overs and felt fine to go out after about 3 days but I think it’s more painful if you have unders xxx

I feel silly saying it but I had unders almost 5 weeks ago now and I was completely pain free! Had a little discomfort but nothing I would say was painful and this is coming from someone who does not have a high pain threshold. The worst pain was the nurse peeling off the dressings at my post op!

It’s different for everyone, depends how much tissue and skin you’ve got to stretch, i had unders and took me 6-7 days to feel able to do anything.

I’ve had unders and I’m on post op day 1. I’ve been out for a walk and I’m able to hold drinks and stuff. Been a bit painful but nothing major, more tightness I’d say. I’m defitnely going to bruise so just waiting for that to pass x

@shiv @tori did you have much tissue and skin before. I reckon I may be ok ish as I have a good pain threshold tbh. But you never know I’m just thinking of when to book for around the kids and also my mums 50 so iv got to plan something for that a few weeks after x

I had unders and that evening I got myself dressed and went out for a three course meal in the hotel with my best mate. I think I was still high off pain meds! But it was a quiet restaurant and we had a laugh! I was tired afterwards and had a great sleep!

Keep on top of your meds and take it easy. I didn’t order steak as I don’t think I’d be able to cut it!!! Haha! X

I had unders and I went out the next day for walks and watched the football but it was day 2 and 3 that really hurt. I was able to move around but it was so tight, very uncomfortable. Everyone is different so you just have to see how u r xx

@kay I had very little tissue before barely an a cup and had 400cc

Had surgery today – unders I feel fine but have belly ache and top of my back is killing ,
my boobs actually feel okay I’m naturally quite skinny … oh an i can’t stop eating lol
