How many day po did everyone drive?

Hi girls just wondering how many days post op everyone started to drive again? Xx

I am driving today ? so 8 days PO! When I booked my 7 day appt though, I asked if I could drive to the appt and they said no! The nurse said last night, that as long as you can emergency stop and you have decent range of movement, then it should be fine from 7 days!! Xx

@ashytonnn how did you find it? Hope i am driving 8 days po or im going to get very wet doing the school run ? have an automatic so im hoping it will be easier as i wont be changing gears….. ?! Xx

@silverlamp I have been fine hun! Was weird at first but i didn’t take a pillow or anything! Just avoid the speed bumbs lmao! I went over one and was like OWWWWW so then just took the long way round to avoid them all ahahah!! You’ll defo be fine in an automatic! Just take it steady xx

I was post op day 8 when I drove again 🙂 wear loose clothing for easier movement too xx

Thanks for the advice @amberl @ashytonnn think i will defo it a go im finding i get really out of breathe walking too far does anyone else find that hope it stops soon x

@mrssheppard2be I felt like that the first couple of days just because of how tight my chest felt, I reckon your strapping isn’t helping as it is probably still really tight! One more sleep and it will be off and hopefully you will feel loads better xx

I saw the nurse 6 days post op and she said I was fine to drive as long as it’s a small car, so I’ve been driving each day from 7 days post op. It did hurt and was uncomfortable at first I’m not going to lie but I was ok and couldn’t cope without driving any longer 🙂 xx

Also I had under the muscle which is supposed to be more painful xx
