Hi girlies
Just wondering what the general pain/mobility is in first week post op,,I understand everyone recovers differently but thought if i put this out there i could c if there was a general theme of how things went in the first week as this is obviously when mobility /pain is going to be at its height for everyone, bit
worried as i have my kids to look after pretty much on my own after 2 days x
Thinking the same?x
What are you having unders are more painful than overs I had uplift and overs I was fine looking after my 2 after2 day but couldn’t drive for 5 days hope that helps x
Depends on under or overs! Unders you’re going to be out of action for around a week or more, overs you should be ok after a few days x
Ok thanks..ill no more monday Im with my surgeon then to confirm unders OR overs size etc with my op in just under 2 weeks tym xx
Day 1 post op I done my nails (shellac) I felt like I could stretch my arms enough to, and I was out in the car with my mum (she drove) day 2 I’ve had a hair wash and been up and about tidying and doing house stuff! And round familys for dinner, I’ve been fine I think the best thing to do is to rest the first night then after that just get up and move around and do easy things, obviously nothing drastic or heavy etc but you’ll be fine keep taking paracetamol as well xxx
did u have unders @teg?? someone was saying she couldnt lift a kettle! did u wash ur hair urself on the second day?? hope i recover aswell as u then xx
I had overs 5 days ago. First 3 days I took it really easy, stayed at home. Day 4 took dog for walk and met friend in town, she drove. Each day is getting easier. My mum washed my hair on day 3, I couldnt have done it myself. X
I had parcials Chanel, yeah I washed it on second day, and made a few cups of tea haha! Everyone’s different really but you’ll be fine don’t panic, my stepmum had hers done and she has baby twins and she was up the next day taking them to nursery she had unders ! hope this helps a bitxxxx
I’m 7 days post op and I had an uplift and overs. Iv been a-okay since day 1. I drove for the time yesterday, I was fine. Iv been able to wash, cook food, go back to work. No major issues. I even got to the stage of wondering if they had done anything to my boobs under the bandages. But I had a sneaky itch the other day and I felt an implant so I’m happy!
You feel a bit tight but that’s about it. I seriously can’t complain. Id do it all again tomorrow .. No issues.. Good luck x
Wow @Beckie ive heard so many stories of poor recovery but it obviously is down to the individual fingers crossed im lucky and @teg u managed to lift a kettle then lol i think ill swerve that n say i cant it so the teas are made for me! Thanks @ash that was helpful xx
I only have a week off so hope I recovery well as I’m a big baby with even the slightest pain lol 😐 xx
Yeah can lift a kettle haha and honestly If I can do it anyone can do it I’m am the worst person with pain I have the lowest pain tolerance everything hurts me!! Haha but I’m so suprised how well I’ve felt after quite a big operation, don’t panic you’ll be fine think positive 😀 xxxx
Aww @Teg thanks for that comment yes I will think positive, I’ve got a thing where I always think worst scenario have had nightmares waking up on operating table and everything lol I guess it’s just nerves the more I wait more excited yet nervous I get, whats your stats darl xx
Honestly try not to even think things like that positive thinking is the best it helped me with all of this ha, before I was 32b size 6 5’7 – I’ve had 375cc parcials hopefully ill be DD xxxx
Yea lol @candybabey i have a fear of waking up during the op too ill need to b sedated on arrival on the day lol thanks @Teg xx
Thanks teg for all the positivity, am beginning to get the jitters / guilts ( as the name states i am a mum of three so i have plent,y of things i could spend the money on) and the positivity helps!
Mum of three you deserve it, nothing to feel guilty of I’m sure your kids are spoilt all the time, now this is like a treat for you inih sweet.
Ahh bless ya x
Thanks @candybabey! Xxx
No problem it’s true, mother’s are the world’s biggest diamonds 🙂
Whens your surgery booked xx
I am about 17 days post op and everything seems to be fine. I had my implants done under my muscle as I was very petite (that was what my surgeon told me!). In the immediate post op, I was fine. My back hurt a little bit but I was up after 3 1/2 hours and was having food already. I didn’t do any lifting for a week just to be on the safe side. Getting in and out of bed was a bit difficult for me since I was not allowed from using my arms. Luckily, my partner was on hand to help me get up the bed. the first 3 days was the hardest as I felt so reluctant to move and my chest would feel so heavy when I wake up in the morning. I took my pain relief like smarties to deal with the pain but on day 3, I started on plain paracetamol which works exactly the same and I didn’t feel drowsy at all.
@mumofthree: you’ll be fine x it’s a quick procedure and you wouldn’t even notice the time 😉
Surgery booked for nov 27th unless someone cancels and I might get bumped up! I am getting partials too Kai. What size did u get? I am currently booked for 295cc but just as everyone does I am now panicking that I might be disappointed and am thinking 310cc. I am driving myself nuts with silly worries!!!
@mumofthree: if you’re not sure with your size, I would definitely recommend for a second consultation before your op just to make sure that you’re happy with it. I did the same as what my PC recommended. I had different sizes on each breast as my left breast was smaller than my right. I think I had a 310 and a 340 to make both of my boobs look symmetrical 🙂
@kai would you mind if I added you? I think your right re the consult, its so much money to be disappointed after.
Ok I’m not going to lie the day of operation and the day after I thought this isn’t bad at all I came off my codine etc and went on normal paracetamol as the tablets day after i was making a brew and kids breakfast the tablets they gave me were sickly and make you really drowsy…big mistake morning 2 today woke up in agony feel like I have hot lava running through them very tight and smarting when I move and get out of bed hurts more in my right more than anything just had the tablets and its starting to ease it so I would say keep to the medication I have obviously tried to come off it too quick as I have quite a high pain threshold and have had 2 C sections and feel the pain was less than this today in terms of moving and getting up and around xx
Forgot to say my friend had hers done same day as me and feels exactly the same but she too come off the meds so we think this is because of this x
