How often to expect to hear from PC?

Hi girls, I’m just wondering how often everyone else hears from their PC? She was off last week when I paid my deposit and I presumed she was still off as I hadn’t heard anything so I rang Tuesday to see if I needed anything for the consultation with my surgeon, she was in the office and called back. She said if I needed anything else to just email, which I have and I haven’t heard back for a day or two?

I’m just wondering how often you girls hear from your PC and how long is a normal wait for a response? I’m meeting my surgeon today so I was hoping she would have got back to me before today really..

My pc was amazing. ( krystina at cardiff )
I had regular contact leading up to the op, she rang the day before wishing me luck, on the day and the day after to see how i was. Im 9 weeks post op now and shes still on the phone when i need her! My nurse also rang regular untill my 1st week post op. Cardiff staff were amazing! No faults at all!. Xx

Iv. Been trying to get hold of mine since the day of my op on Monday and haven’t heard back at all. Emailed, text and phone… not very happy as I can’t get hold of anyone at my clinic either !

Thanks for both getting back to me! Ah I’m glad your PC was good! I thought you should have regular contact but I didn’t know if my expectations were too high.

That’s not good you haven’t heard after your op at all’ I’d ring the main reception and try and get hold of her that way. I hope you’re feeling ok, happy healing X

In my case; never haha. Unless you count out of office replies

I’ve never here’d from mine since day I first met her apart from when I’ve emailed her to ask something but it doesn’t really bother me as they just do the office work really to me I was happy with my sugeon and my nurse xx

In my case the first time i went into Mya for my initial meeting with PC, i never saw her again i saw another girl the next 3 times i went she was lovely so i had no complaints, im having problems at the min 13 weeks post op) she rang a few days ago to ask what the problems were, its not great but what i will say is i think there totaly overstreched, everytime ive been into the clinic she always has clients in with her or coming out and the next ones straight in, i think she works very hard so it’s not something ive ever complained about, in some ways i wished i hadn’t heard from her though it’s made me fear im about to head into a big battle, before the phonecall i was still optimistic about my aftercare xxx

In my case close to never once I paid them too….

So far I find my PC to be very good she regularly calls or texts me , ie To make sure the paper work is all e signed & returned copy of procedures , mya policy etc , she called me last week to book my Pre-op nurse appointment , I find texting works really well in my case , I always get a response within 24 hours id say that’s normal if you have a question, but then I’ve not actually had surgery yet but I’m optimistic my pc Donna seems so good at her job , maybe try texting yours if that works ? X

I am with the Bristol clinic they have all been fantastic due to a few medical issues I have had more contact with Joanna my nurse and also Lauren on the front desk has been amazing support on the phone or we have texted. Had my Op on Yuesday and Joanna has rung to check up me.

They where contacting me nearly everyday until they got full payment , I mean emails , phones calls , text the lot! Since paying in full and I have surgery in 2 days I haven’t heard from them other then an email with my admission time!
Hope the after care is better then this!

I havent heard from mine since the day I paid, havent seen her since the first consultation either..im now 19 DPO ive had so many problems with my PC, she told me that I couldn’t meet the Surgeon until I had applied for a loan, so she gave me the price and said oh that wouldn’t change. Then when I met the surgeon,I thought everything was fine as no one said anything, until I called reception to check an appointment and the receptionist told me about when payment was due, and it had gone up by a grand. Thankfully they agreed to do it for the price I was told initially as it was their fault not communicating to me (I was also told she shouldnt have told me to apply for the loan before meeting the surgeon).
I cant fault the surgeon or the nurses on the day of the op or the post op nurses.
If I wanted anything done in future I definitely would go to my surgeon direct and not with mya xx
