how should my sports bra feel?

i had my 1 week check up with the nurse today and the sports bras i had bought sat too close to my incisions so just been shopping for some more. it comes down lower which is better but im not sure if its supporting me enough? Ive seen a few people complain how squashed their boobs feel in their sports bras where as this one feels fine. Should they be more tight and uncomfortable or is a little support enough ? thanks girls xx

Hi hun, I had my first post op check today even though I’m only 5days post op. The nurse said my sports bra is fine and had enough support and I don’t feel like it’s squashing them xx

I’ve got a Macom hun it feels like it’s pushing them a little bit but I can fit fingers under the band. I’d recommend them, a bit expensive but doesn’t rub on incisions at all, I got a 32 coz I was a 32a/b and it’s fine. How are they doing? Xx

i just went to debenhams and got a shock absorber which was £38 so should be good! i just dont feel like they are squashed at all compared to the one i took which i tried on with the nurse. She recomended i just got the cheap ones from asda which i dont think squash them at all? Im doing well thanks sophie but need to leave my incisions another week to heal before i can shower! how did yours go xx

I got the ones from asda as well but they didn’t look very comfy! Maybe you need a size smaller? Not sure, mine feel squished but not crazy squished. I need to leave my new things on my incisions until Wednesday then I can shower! They looked so funny when I took the strapping off, I feel more optimistic now I’ve seen them though I was getting sick of that strapping! My skin feels ripped off where she’s taken it off 🙁 but I’m glad I can see them now. Do you love them?? Xx

its so hard getting the size i need a 34D seems to be impossible to find even online 🙁 ive sent my pc a message so hopefully they can help! same with me but she told me thursday to take mine off, baby wipes are gona be my new best friend ahah! It was so strange getting it off i thought they looked massive but theyre still swollen and hard but im feeling optimistic about the future when they drop and everything, cant wait 😀 oh dear that must have hurt mines fine luckily still a bit red though xx

The Macom ones are good because you only need a back size and they fit all cup sizes! Can’t remember I got them off the boob shop though because they didn’t have a black one in small! It’s just the best selling one, got one in black and one in nude. I can’t wait for them to be less swollen that’s the only painful but coz its tight in the sports bra! I’m gobbling ibuprofen and ice packing them haha! Wonder if I can put my Macom in the freezer hahaha! Xx

Hia I was 32 a and got a 32 macom bra…but also got the packs from asda but got 34DD. …They are more.comfortable .I’ve bought another 2 pack from asda now 34e and they aren’t squashing them as much.xxxxx
