How tight should

I’m 9 days post op now and sometimes my boobs feel like
They’re aching cos my sports bra is quite tight and restrictive. Should they be
Quite tight to support boobs or a bit looser to let them drop and settle? Xxx

Ive researchd this quite a bit and the consensus seems to be that too tight a bra discourages dropping. Some surgeons in America encourage no bra at all in the first two weeks and only suggest support bras for evenings/ sleeping in if it makes you feel more secure. Ive swapped my day time bras to non wired/non padded bras and mine are dropping and not aching at all? Not sure if theres a right or wrong but this its working for me. XXX

Hi Cassieanne, im 9 days post opp too 🙂 ones a little higher than the other still but theyre really changing every day so trying not to worry about it just yet.

Mine are same height but Im still a bit like they’re not quite as big as I’d have hopes. Gonna sit it out for abit cod they might fluff and be a bit bigger but they’re overs so I believe they don’t get much bigger! :/ still better than before tho!

hahah oh yeah I wish I had booked a week off never mind two- I went back to work on the wednesady straight after and no one has noticed or everyones being very subtle if they have lol!!!
I hope mine get a bit bigger, im sure even with overs the weight of them will stretch you skin slightly and fill out over time. Do your scars sting? Mine have started to today 🙁 got my 7 day post op check tomorrow so will mention it to the nurse xxx

Hi I swapped my sports bra for a non wired support bra during the day + its much more comfortable, couldn’t bear my sports bra any longer as it was so tight underneath + so uncomfortable x x

I wear my tight compression bra at night now and a seam free sports bra in the day, as feels loads more comfy and couldn’t stand the other one in this heat 🙂 x
