Hi all,
So this is me at 4 wpo. As you can see one boob is bigger than the other & the other square underneath & nipple pointing down.
But they have been like this with no change at all since week ONE!!!
So the bigger one hasn’t dropped & fluffed over the weeks it’s been like this since my strapping came off at day 3! If the other one D&F it might look more even.
Is there anything you can do to encourage them to drop at all?
I hate the way I look, I know it’s early days but seeing everyone change week by week, I’m so concerned that mine haven’t changed once in 4weeks now.
Thanks. Xxx
I dont even think drop and fluff has happened for me im hoping it hasnt coz i really dont like mine at the min at 4mpo xx
Ahh Donna I feel for you I really do. I feel like crying everyday at what size I am. Not overly upset about the shape because I know there’s a chance they ‘may’ change, but there no where near the size I want. 🙁
Have you seen your surgeon since to tell him how you feel? Xxx
I havent seen anybody since my 6 week check im hoping for a miracle i reallt am anythings better than what i had but there so odd xx how far on are you again? Xx
I just had a look at your pics i agree they look just the same they do look good tho xx
Honestly Donna the pictures make them look big, round & ok, don’t know how the camera changes what they actually look like but the honestly look much smaller, wonkier & awful in real life I promise you. Heart wrenching! Xx
I no exactly how you feel honest i do. I havent even been proper bra shopping im in a sports bra 90% i have got some terribly odd pics on mine il attach now xx
Last week! Xx
Hi Goldie the camera definately makes them look bigger mine are nowhere near the size they look from a front facing picture, did you have a size/shape/assymetty problem pre-op?
I can see your nipple is not centred on one but it does look like one has dropped and the other not, ive had this problem but it comes and goes, i understand your concern if for you it’s been something thats been present since surgery, it’s such an emotional let down but it really is a wait and see game at this stage i wish i could say something to make you feel more positive but please try and keep your spirits up until you have seen your surgeon and been able to address this with him xxx
Hi Donna, i just read you haven’t seen anybody since your 6 week check with the nurse? Why were you not given the 12 week appointment with your surgeon? xxx
I was but he cancelled on me im in the 18th of this month hopefully xx
Thanks Donna, I don’t know what happens to them to make them go wonky, I get that technically they are two separate operations and heal separately, but my issue is that in 4 weeks straight they haven’t changed in the slightest so literally looked odd from day one and stayed odd! Have yours been the same over the whole 4 months with no change? I must say although they are a little different in shape they still look lovely full and natural. Xx
Claudine – No I had completely semetrical boobs before hand and so had 300cc in both. As I say though they have been this exact shape since the strapping came off. In my strapping and with week one swelling the one that’s bigger looked huge so that’s why they asked me to go in after three days to see the surgeon & he took off my strapping 4days early to have a look & said all was fine. I get that in week one an odd shape etc isn’t uncommon at all, but by week for and in Donnas case month 4 surely things would of changed somewhere! I see constant stories of everyone’s changes and dropping, but mine are stubborn as hell it seems. I just better not end up like this months down the line or I will be insisting something is done.
I didn’t like being naked in front of my partner at age 41 as it was with no boobs, but 5k later I’m just as embarrassed, it’s just not right. Xx
Yep odd from the off im so scared he wont fix em xx
I’m honestly 100% that the asymmetry is that bad and they odd then they will fix them. Hopefully you’ve got photos of how you were pre op aswell to show him that it wasn’t a problem beforehand. Even without photos beforehand he would be able to see from his own notes that it wasn’t a problem pre op. It’s hard to judge totally from a photo cause different photo angles can make things look better or worse but if it’s as bad as you say then I don’t see how they could deny you a re op x
Thanks Jessica, Your right they should know that they weren’t like this before hand. I’m happy to give it the full 6 weeks and even a while after that, but seeing how Donnas never changed and how other girls have changed week by week since week one, I’m pretty sure mine are gonna end up looking awful still, so I’ll definitely be going back for some answers and praying for a re-op (not that I want or should have to go through all this pain again)! Xx
Odd do u mean? Xx
Todays picture totalelt down crying my eyes out!
I was wondering too Hayley, hope things have improved for you Donna xxx
How are you feeling now Goldie? Any change xxx
Hi Claudine,
I’m two months p/o now and I haven’t been on here for a month now, thought I’d have a break and stop analysing myself!
I had my six week check up and the nurse said my boobs were very hard and to start massaging them daily which I have and I think its really helped soften them up. I’m also in normal underwired bras now which I think has helped shape them…..but I’m still not happy with the overall size!
How are you getting on now? xxx
