How to know size of sports bra

Hey guys just wondering how do you know what size macom bra or sp[rots bra to buy for straight after surgery? x

Macom is just by band, so 32,34,36… which is the simplest thing too:)

I’m panicking now i have my op on Tuesday and have bought standard sports bras, are these ok or should i try and get a Macom express delivery?

Louise, I was the same and my op was 21 Dec so by the time I found this site 2 days after op and realised I should have bought a macom, they weren’t posting out until 6 Jan, so I never bothered. From what I can gather the macom is more comfortable tho I can’t compare and I may have been just as uncomfortable with one. Lots of girls on here swear by M&S sports bras and asda ones too though so don’t stress too much if you don’t want to fork out yet more money. If you do decide to go for it – there’s some discount code you can put in I think.

I wish I’d had the macom, in case it had been more comfortable over my incisions so my advice would be, if you can afford it, get one ordered and at least it’ll be with you within a few days PO at the latest. And, depending on your surgeon, if you’re strapped, you may not need a bra straight off, or the bra will be over the strapping.

I didn’t have a Macom, I went for the M&S zip up, which comes lower under the incisions so no rubbing on them. I went for a band size bigger than I usually wear, and a cup size bigger than expected. Still sleep in it now. I also found the Tesco high impact sports bra was great for wearing under clothes as it was very supportive and comes down lower than the zip up.

I bought a shock absorber from little woods there reduced at the moment from 35 to 20 I got the zip up one at the frount and I find it so supportive really great sports bra xxx

Ah thanks guys, just worried id get the wrong size and it wouldnt be supporitve enough!
