How to reply??

When people comment on your posts how do you directly reply?? Like @ people? When I click on the thing next to their name where it says reply nothing happens?? X

I click onto their profile hun to check what their ‘@’ name is as sometimes is different to their full name. Then just type it. So for example mine is @xxcsb not @ChelseaBennett
