How well did you feel going home from the hospital?

Making travel arrangements, did you feel pretty ok from all the pain relief from the hospital? Or did you actually feel quite rough?

I felt pretty rough I got well dosed up on painkillers before I left to make the journey more tolerable and I knew i would snooze most of it

I felt amazing? I don’t know what I was so worried about I was a day case & I don’t feel bad at all had my op at 11:30 this morning xx

I was horrid but im a terrible passenger driver anyway! I was only stopping in a hotel 10 mins away thank god! But was sick with being in the car 2 mins aha! Luckily had a little bowl from the hospital! Depends on the individual i guess! Xxx

Natalie how far away do you live from the hospital? Xx

I went home 2 hours after the surgery and felt fine, but it really does differ from person to person x

I. Felt really spaced out and just achy really but not painful considering I was squashed in the back of a porche lol feeling achy today though … Natalie I think I met you at mya in Chelmsford 🙂 said you look like my friend Natalie weird .. Good luck for your op xxx

I felt absolutely fine Hun 🙂 my mum couldn’t believe it!xx

I felt fine Hun, I had my surgery at 10.30 and started walking up down the corridor with my drains in toe cos I wanted to be active.. I ended up jumping on the train home, it’s only the train for 40mins though, then popes into my mates and watched eastenders, then went home. I felt fine.. Today were my drains were it feels abit uncomfortable, but that’s only when I need my pain killers.. But as everyone has said, it depends on the person xx

I had mine yesterday, was a little emotional, I think that was the drugs though – felt fine, but ache today, it is bearable though – good luck xxx

Only thing is because I may have to get the train home, only am hour on the train but am struggling to find anyone to pick me up. Oh hi girls! Yehh it was me at the chelmsford clinic! How are you now? X

I’m glad someone asked this question as i was thinking it myself, i am also doing a day case and staying in a hotel the night before and night after then a couple of hours train journey home. Just hope it wont be a busy train and a comfortable journey xx

Eeek i just hope im still a bit sedated lol xx
