I can shower:) can I bath as well?

Hi sounds a silly question but forgot to ask as I was a little carried away with excitement in the nurse saying I could shower lol , does that mean I can soak in the bath as well ? Xx

I want to kno exactly the same lol I can shower but really would love a bath!xx

Not till they tell you your aloud, usually after your 6 week check x

woah 6weeks is ages away. my nurse didnt tell me but how long do you have to wait to take a shower? xx

9 days Hun , had my dressings off Mondays and she put some stera strips on and said I could shower and was them off today , iff you could manage to tip your head over the bath and get someone to was your hair will make you feel better , I didn’t do this until a week after though xxx really wanna soak in a ht bath though xx

I cant imagine Im going to smell nice after 9 days haha! Xx

Lol , u manage with a struggle get some flannels in I used them and baby bath and my bathroom sink haha xx seemed to take me forever to have a wash though xx

I had my one week appointment with the nursery yesterday and she said yes to showers and yes to baths if I want, as long as I make sure I’m very carefully and give the scars a really good rinse after. She said different people will tell you different things, it’s more of a hygiene thing with baths as you sitting in dirty water. Still yet to have one though, stuck with a hot shower. X
