If i pay a deposit of £2000 would i be able to pay the rest on finance even though i failed the credit check last week?
I don’t think so, but I would pay the deposit if I were you, did they tell you that you are allowed to apply in someone elses name? Like your parents or a friend? They just need their consent and both your details x
Yeah they did say i could do it in someone elses name but parents wont do it and neither will any friends. I have just emailed the person who i had a consultation with and asked and she said she will check for me, so just waiting now, i hope i can but i doubt it lol xx
Oh rightt why not?
Yeah, your PC should be able to sort things out…whats the total if you don’t mind me asking? x
I read on here the other day (cant remember which post), that someone asked for the full amount but failed the credit check. She then begged her parents for some money so she could make a deposit and she got accepted the next day…so its worth a try. xx
Hi, I would really love an answer to this question as well, the only thing holding me back is because I’m scared in case I get rejected for finance. I have 2500 saved now but I am a student and know it is difficult to get credit whilst a student although I have had the same part time job for 2 and a half years, and have always paid phone bill, car insurance, gym, catalogue on time so don’t think my credit rating could be too bad. Really down at the moment though as feel as though I’ve been saving for so long and it’s never going to happen for me (I get so so jealous of all you girls on here when you’s go in for surgery!)
Hopefully though with a lot more overtime at work and a lot more nights in I may be a little bit closer by the summer!! xxx
You need to apply for the smaller amount that’s the only way of knowing if you will be accepted or not. But be careful because applying for too many loans in a small space of time damages your credit rating xx
i did try again and it still failed
‘( so i have to save all of the money up now, i could of had my op on 18th Feb, but now i cant so heartbroken!! xx
Hi Cheekymonkey do you mind me asking are you a student or employed? Just I don’t want to apply because of what Holly has just said about damaging your rating xx
I am employed but i am a part time student xx
I’m not going to have any chance then
part time job and full time student! Sickner or what
xx
its best 2 check ur rating on a credit based website 1st, obv it is down 2 whoever supplies the credit, but the websites also have ways 2 build it back up if it isnt great xx
Hi, when i was confirming my personal appointment over the phone the women said that she had no reason while i would get declined for finance. She asked me if i was working 16 hours a week, over the age of 18, lived at a address in the UK for 3 years. I meet all that but still am worried i will not get accepted! any advice guys? x
She said to me there are 2 reasons why i couldnt be accepted for finance and they are if i havent been in my job long enough or if i have been in debt etc, but i have been in my job for more then a year and i have never been in debt, so i havent got a clue why i havent been accepted, really disapointed
xx
Hi Holly when is your appointment? Will you let us know? I only work 16 hours a week but have had my job 2 and a half years but have only been building up credit rating since may. What payment plan are you trying for? I’m so desperate now I feel like utter crap about myself I’ve been waiting farrr too long now
xxx
