I HAVE BOOBS!!!!!

So so happy with how well my day went yesterday at first trust hospital, thought I’d share my story on here with all you lovely ladies!
I arrived at the hospital at 8am after leaving the house at 6:30am yesterday morning, I was so excited, not one bit of nerves was in me. As soon as I got in my private room I got changed into my sexy gown and paper knickers, the nurse took my blood pressure, asked all the general questions on the paper work and then left, she said it would be a good couple of hours before I go down to make sure I get some rest.
Then the Anaesthetist came in, asked me the same questions and listened to my chest. Everything was fine!! .. Dr Minour himself then came in, we went through more paperwork together, he then drew on me and took pictures.. After that the Anaesthetist came back in the put the cannula in my hand, unfortunately he couldn’t get a vein, he tried my hand and arm (it’s a good job I don’t mind needles) haha! In the end he said he will do it in theatre..
I waited around 5 hours, I took my iPad and magazines to occupy me. Also my boyfriend came along with me and we just sat in the bed watching telly too, he went to the cafe and got himself a jacket potato so he was happy 🙂 ..
It was 1:20pm when the nurse came to get me and walked me down to theatre, I laid on the bed and that’s where the Anaesthetist tried again with the cannula and it worked!! All I remember was her stroking my hair and saying “see you in a couple of minutes mary” and then next thing I know I was waking up and getting myself back on my bed.
I then had tea and toast before the nurse helped me stand up and put my support bra on. At this point I felt really shaky, I was having hot sweats and felt sick.. This is normal apparently! .. I got back into bed and the nurse put some anti sickness fluid in my hand, which worked wonders! I had another cuppa and some biscuits, then I got myself dressed, made the bed, got all my things together and we was on the road home at 6pm!
We stopped off for a KFC and a trip to Argos to buy a V pillow as the one I ordered previously wasn’t the correct one haha!
I was asleep by 10pm in my own bed at home, I woke up twice in the night, once to go the loo and once because I wasn’t comfy, so I propped myself up and fell back to sleep.
I am over the mood with how I am feeling and coping so far!! Praying I stay at this level of pain haha!!
So my fabulous 350cc’s are settling in very well in there new home 😉 haha! .. Sorry about the long message girls, can you tell im pleased haha.. Happy recovery to me!! X

Happy to hear your coping well 🙂 I’m in quite abit of pain but I had unders so that’s probably why but I completely agree that the level of service was great everyone was so nice and reassuring and mr mounir has done a fab job I’m very happy! happy healing 🙂 Amy xxx

No worries Lucy, glad you’re feeling good too! It’s just the sleeping process that I think is going to get me more, like you said it’s just a little uncomfortable, happy healing to you!! X

Would you girls count procedure day as day 1? Or the day after as day 1? I’m just curious about he “dreading day 3” as I’m hardly in pain now, would it be tomorrow or Thursday? Hmm xx

I wud say day 1 being the day after your surgery.
