I have boobs :) op yesterday 340s Kazzazi

I have finally joined the boobie club girls! 🙂 My admission time was 9am yesterday at Park Hill, Doncaster. Was greeted by lovely staff to fill out my forms in reception. Then taken to my room. I saw the nurse for confirmation of all my medical history and blood pressure & to ask any questions I had. Again she was lovely & really put my mind at ease. Nothing was too much trouble for them & being around such happy friendly nurses really did help. After about 20 minutes I was asked to do urine sample so they could do pregnancy test. At about 9.45 I saw the anaesthetist who was such a nice man & told me he would look after me there was nothing to worry about I was in good hands. At 10.30 the nurse came to collect me to go down to theatre. Could not believe how quick and smooth my process was. I was very fortunate it was so efficient as worry about everything so over the moon I didn’t wait too long. I was greeted by the anaesthetist & another nurse. Was dreading the cannula but it was sharp scratch then I went bit fuzzy and ext thing I new was coming round in recovery. I was told all went well. I was back in my room for 12.30. Apart from feeling spaced out felt reasonably ok until I had my tea & toast. Then was sick a lot, so much I had anti-sickness injection however expected this as I am never good with drugs admitted by hospitals so please do not worry as everyone reacts differently to anaesthetic 🙂 after the injection starting working I felt s much better. Still very sore & like I was being sat on by elephant but nothing too bad that I couldn’t deal with. It got to about 5pm & I had ham sandwich & another cup of tea, which I managed to keep down yay. The nurses were constantly checking on me & you have emergency cord to pull if you need them so makes you feel really at ease. At 6pm was asked to get up & make sure I could pass wee & feel steady on my feet. Then had my drains out….which I had wound myself up about and only felt tiny tug no pain so again just take deep breath & it’s all over in seconds. Once these were out nurse said Mr Kazzazi would be in to see me shortly. After 10 minutes he came in ad told me all went well & checked my dressing. I was then told as long as I felt strong enough I could start getting my bits together to go home. I left the hospital after being given medication (paracetamol, ibuprofen, & antibiotics) I was home for 8pm. All in all I can honestly say my experience was great girs. Yes I am in discomfort but with pain killers it’s bearable and nothing like I imagined. Would describe it as pulling myself really, really badly at the gym. I set my alarm for taking my paracetamol during the night and didn’t ave ad sleep considering. I had wo pillows, plus v-pillow propping me up. For all of you that are waiting for BA please try not to stress yourselves out. I am a right whimp with needles etc but if ai can do it you can too. Sorry to go on but want to sare my story with you all. Fingers crossed my healing process goes well. Please feel free to ask me questions & if want to add me that’s fine just quick message first. I cannot believe I now have boobs…..onwards and upwards! 🙂 xxxxx

No I was offered it like an hour after my toast and I said I wasn’t ready for it yet,so the nurse said she would come ask again in abit and she never did. Xx

Thankyou 🙂 yea all is fine, I’ve got over it now lol, planning on having them re done after the babys born 🙂 both days I’ve been its been fab and gone smoothly and really quick, the hospital are great. Hope your not in too much discomfort xxx

Can’t believe you weren’t give another sandwich! I had toast when I woke up, chicken Kiev 3 hours later and the. Toast again 3 hours after that. I was at high gate and they even got gluten free bread for me! ;). Happy healing redbullqueen. Kazzazi is fantastic, I am over the moon and am. 3 weeks PO tomorrow. Xx

Kirsty the same happend to me second time I was given tea and toast not long after waking up but its so hard to eat because of the dry mouth, so didn’t eat any of it, and id not eaten since night before (this was around 5pm) at around 7 someone said they was fetching me a ham sandwich but it never came so then I’d had Lituraly nothing to eat at all that day since the night before, but got the breakfast around 7.30 the next morning which was really lovely. Probably cudnt have eaten sandwhich anyway mouth was so so dry was just drinking litres of water went through about 3 jugs Haha xxx

Did you get offered any more pain relief yesterday? I didn’t and I just wondered if that was the same with you xx

Only paracetamol, antibiotics & ibuprofen Hun. I did ask if that was enough because thought might e given something little stronger. But nurse said no need if your pain is getting unbearable I would mention to nurse from clinic. Has she called u yet? xx

I didn’t have any pain relief at all yesterday after my op!! I’ve come home with some stuff. No ones phoned me!

Is it ok to add you I’m getting 380 overs on tuesday and the nerves have well and truly kicked in, does everybody have drains xx

I only starting taking meds they gave me when I got home. A nurse will call you soon am sure. How is the pain now? xx

Thanks Nicki. It will soon be your turn. Excited for you 🙂 yes peeps add away Hun. Not everyone has to have drains they decide there and then. I was fretting so much about them but honest they are nothing to worry about I just kept focusing on the positives of why I had BA and how long I had waited for new boobies. It’s over in seconds x

Peeps & no0108 u will be fine. I was that nervous was so cold & shaking travelling to hospital but if I can do it you can too. Just focus on the reasons why u r doing it & the results. Good luck xx
