I just about to book to see a consultant

I have got myself a little confused as i went to a couple of places for an initial consultation. Do MYA charge to see the consultant?? and if so how much is it as i know some charge. Excited to have this done but also a little nervous about paying for it and how poorly i might feel after help!!!

I’m not sure about MYa, but I’ve gone through my local bmi hospital, i saw a doctor first who just went through all the info with me and then she booked me an appointment to then see the surgeon which cost me £150.

I have already had my intitial consultant and now im about to book in to see Schiavone edgardo. Anyone know what i should expect when i go to this appointment?

Your consultation with a surgeon with mya is definitely free. I had mine last month x

Everything with mya is free until you are 100% ready to book your surgery, you can even see the consultant more than once if u need to, I believe mya are the only company that does thus :-), I went to BMI and paid £160 for the exact same as what I got for free from mya, needless to to say I went with mya 🙂

Yeh i know a couple that wanted to charge just for the first consultation which is really just a friendly chat. Although when i went i got myself confused when i came away so i will give them a ring tomorrow. I have so many questions lol. This forum is a brilliant idea though as you talk to real people that have been there rather than looking at a website that could all be mad up. Think that you need to hear good and bad
