I need a shower !!!!

Hi ladies. I’m nearly 2 wks post op, TT & BA. Obviously I have been washing but I’m desperate to get a shower & give my hair A good wash. Do you think it’ll be ok to get my scars wet yet ????

You need to wait until you’ve seen your surgeon or nurse for the first time to ensure your scars have healed enough, I know its not pleasant but its not worth risking infection or delaying healing!

Hey bbe, I saw my nurse yesterday (I’m two weeks PO today) and she said I’m ok to shower from Wednesday and take my steri strips off then aswell xoxo

I had my post op check with the nurse 6 days after my BA and she said I was fine to shower but just not to get soap on the incisions or creams etc and to pat them dry not rub. I’d had the tape taken off and was healing well so you need to be checked first I would think x

After my ba at 7 days post op I got told it was fine to shower xx
